Any fans of virtual Youtubers (vtubers) arelikely aware of Hololive, the most prominentof the corporations in the vtubing industry. Similarly, the in-jokes of the Hololive community are also known throughout the industry, such as the idealization of the CEO of Cover Corp, Hololive’s parent company, known throughout memes as YAGOO.HoloCure,afree Vampire Survivors-like game based on the talentsof the company, also makes many references to the memes of the Hololive community, including YAGOO himself.
Some examples of YAGOO easter eggs in HoloCure are somewhat rare enemies known as Silver and Golden YAGOOs. Neither of these enemy units is hostile to the player, but attacking them could lead to special prizes that could benefit a player’s current run and overall progress inHoloCure.Players should remain aware of these units in case they happen to spawn during a run, as well as the mechanics and rewards attached to them.

HoloCure:Silver YAGOOs Explained
The more common of the two YAGOO enemy units is the Silver YAGOO, with a 30% chance to spawn during a player’s run. Silver YAGOOs will generally spawn around the 3-minute mark, the 9-minute mark, and the 18-minute mark of a run on any of the in-game maps, with slight variation in timing between the maps (give or take a minute).
The Silver YAGOO has a relatively large HP pool compared to most enemy units, and will de-spawn in 25 seconds if not defeated in that time. However, if the player manages to defeat the Silver YAGOO, they will be awarded a stamp.
Stamps inHoloCureare potential enemy drops that provide various perks to a character’s starting weapon during that run. Weapons can hold three stamps at any time, and any obtained after those three can be swapped, used to upgrade an existing one, or sold for HoloCoins.
HoloCure:Golden YAGOOs Explained
Compared to the 30% chance that Silver YAGOOs have to spawn, Golden YAGOOs only have a 20% chance to spawn during any given run. Similar to Silver YAGOOs, Golden YAGOOs can spawn at set times on each map (generally around the 5-minute mark or the 15-minute mark) and will provide extra rewards if they spawn during the later half of a run.
Golden YAGOOs have a much higher HP pool compared to Silver YAGOOs, and once again will have to be defeated within 25 seconds for an award. Upon being defeated by the player, Golden YAGOOs will drop a Holozon Box (the packages dropped by enemy bosses) and up to 3,000 HoloCoins.
