For an expansive RPG game likeHogwarts Legacy,where enemies are plenty and the myriad of puzzles is challenging, players have to use every tool to their advantage, and the items from these chests can make a significant difference.
Hogwarts Legacyis an action RPG title, where players have to step into the shoes of a student of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who boasts an uncanny ability to sense ancient magic around them. As players progress through the story, they can unlock new magical spells, learn how to craft potions, use magical plants to aid them in combat, and even discover the fabled Room of Requirements. The game employs an elaborate RPG system where players can customize every aspect of their character, from their robes to their wands, as they face off against some of the strongest wizards andmagical beasts inHogwarts Legacy.

As players explore the areas in and around Hogwarts, they will come across chests that contain useful items and powerful upgrades to their existing gear. While most of these are easily unlockable, theenchanted one-eyed chests inHogwarts Legacyrequire a bit of finesse. A keen-eyed player has taken their time to scour through the game’s areas and has discovered a correlation between the aesthetic of each chest and the items that lie within. In a post to Reddit, user somethingnerdrelated shared that the easily discoverable leather satchels or bags contain various amounts of money, with the large ones sometimes containing clothing items. According to the post, clothing items of all tiers can be found in the standard chests dotted around the map, while the larger chests that players have to use both hands to open contain clothing items of the legendary tier only.
The aforementioned one-eyed chests only contain 500 Galleons, but seeing how most satchels dropped by fallen enemies contain 10 to 50 Galleons, these chests are a quick way to get rich. Fashion-sensitive wizards should keep their eyes open for small rectangular boxes with a top handle, as these contain clothing traits, while the horizontal, cylindrical boxes contain a wand handle. For those who want to decorate theRoom of Requirements inHogwarts Legacy, the small hexagonal boxes contain the necessary Conjuration spells to change the aesthetic of this incredibly powerful room that aids players with potion crafting and beast taming.
It is an incredibly useful find for players who might be lacking a few upgrades to make their wizard the master of spells or for the newer players to hunt down necessary upgrades before advancing a quest. Hogwarts Legacyis out now for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. It will release on PS4 and Xbox One on April 4 and on Switch on July 25.
