In a new Reddit post, the insider introduced himself as Taylor Liddell, son ofHogwarts LegacyDesign Director Chad Liddell and also a former QA tester for the game. He has recently been given permission to create video guides for launch on his YouTube channel. But he also wanted to open the floor to fans to ask him some questions aboutHogwarts Legacy, and he’ll do his best to answer as far as his NDA allows. Naturally, after the Reddit mod team verified the source, hundreds of comments poured in, and thanks to the curiosity of gamers, Liddell revealed someinteresting details aboutHogwarts Legacy.
In terms of clothing, Liddell disclosed there are a ton of options to choose from, and while he’s not an expert on fashion, he also confirmed that it follows a Victorian-like style for the most part. He also stated that, much like on the cover art, players will be able to use clothes with hoods, which can be removed at will. The choices for the Room of Requirements were described as massive, and what the marketing videos showed apparently barely scratched the surface. When it comes to building the player character, Liddell said that fans will be able to create a variety of different builds by using talents. However, these choices will be locked in, so there’s no changing them later down the line.
Players will be able to modify their characters after the beginning of the game. This answer came when Liddell was asked about whether scars can be added later on. The game’s performance was also mentioned. He’s beenplayingHogwarts Legacyon PC, and he said it runs decently on his computer, but he has an Nvidia RTX 3080. Liddell also teased an area south of Hogwarts, which is his favorite, but it hasn’t been revealed yet.
