Hogwarts LegacyIn the Shadow of the Bloodline Quest will end with Sebastian and Ominis parting ways due to their different views. The boys quarrel because Ominis dislikes using Dark Magic despite being forced to by his family in his youth, while Sebastian sees its value when it’s needed.
In the Shadow of the Study Questbegins with Sebastian trying to bring Ominis back to the team so that they can find the Salazar Slytherin Scriptorium and locate the Slytherin Spellbook. This Quest rewards players with 180 XP and acquiringthe Crucio Spell if they chose to learn it inHogwarts Legacy.

Players will need to go through a challenging area full of tricky puzzles while Ominis finds out what really happened to his missing family member. Sebastian, on the other hand, is ecstatic as he’s finally getting closer to Salazar’s secret room, which is full of secrets.
In The Shadow Of The Study Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To start the In the Shadow of the StudyQuest inHogwarts Legacy, players need toreceiveSebastianOwl aftercompleting theIn the Shadow of the BloodlineQuest.
Meet Sebastian outsidethe Slytherin common room inHogwarts Legacy. After that, Sebastian will lead players to Ominis' location as he fears that the Slytherin student has backed down from joining them on their mission to find the Scriptorium entrance.
To gain access to the Scriptorium, players will first need to convince Ominis to reveal the door’s location, then do the following:
Ominis will explain the hissing is heard after repairing the relief. The relief is telling the blind Slytherin to speak to it in their ancient language. After Ominis asks players if they want to go further or not, he will speak in Parseltongue to openthe locked door inHogwarts Legacy. Upon entering the room, players will find three locked doors with a new puzzle to solve in the Scriptorium
To open the second door:
Opening the third door can be quite bothersome, as it requires a few extra steps. Which are:
The Slytherin Locks have a timer, so players must insert the correct symbols within the given time limit, or they will be bitten.
Opening the final door will lead to the next room where players will be trapped. Upon investigating the room, the three students will learn that there is no way out but to cast aforbidden Spell inHogwarts Legacy. Ominis doesn’t want to cast such a Spell, and Sebastian thinks it’s ridiculous to die when they can cast an ominous Spell. Here, the protagonists have to play the meditator role and convince Ominis that either they or Sebastian will cast the Spell.
However, players are free to decide whether they want to:
Whatever the choice players make, they will end up inside Salazar Slytherin Scriptorium and acquire the Slytherin Spellbook. The latter has to be given to Sebastian to end the search party and exit the Slytherin Dungeon. Getting out will lead Sebastian and Ominis to quarrel about whether they should use Dark Magic again.
