Over on Twitter,Santa Monica Studioannounced that as of January 11th, players will be able to pre-loadGod of Waron PC before its official release on January 14th. Pre-loading allows players to download the game files ahead of time, but they won’t be accessible until the game actually releases. This way, players don’t have to wait forGod of Warto download on the day of its launch and can start playing the game immediately.

For many players, this will be their first time playingGod of War.Given how much success and accoladesGod of Warhas garnered over the years, thanks in large part to the budding relationship betweenKratos and Atreus, a lot of newcomers are likely excited for what’s to come in the main game.
