For those unfamiliar withGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, the asymmetrical multiplayer title casts four players as the titular ghostbusters, who have to work together to capture dangerous spirits plaguing the various maps in the game. A fifth player can join in on the action as well, taking control of the ghost. Like its other games, IllFonic is looking to supportGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashedfor the long term with regular updates and DLC, the first of which is available to download today.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed’s new DLC is available to download right now, free for anyone that owns the base game. The headlining addition is Muncher, a blue ghost thatfirst appeared inGhostbusters: Afterlife, the latest film in the franchise. Muncher causes havoc early in theGhostbusters: Afterlifefilm, living up to his namesake by eating everything in sight. He’s coming toGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashedas part of Glutton class, which will include two other ghosts as well.
Muncher isn’t the only new addition toGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. Players also have a new map to check out called Facility, along with a variety of new customization options and quality-of-life improvements. This free DLC forGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashedshould be just the beginning of the game’s post-launch support, soGhostbustersfanscan expect more big updates for the game in the months ahead.
WhileGhostbusters: Spirits Unleashedreviewswere somewhat mixed, the game does seem to have struck a chord with fans of the franchise, so it’s great to see that it’s getting post-launch support like this.
