Ghost of Tsushimais highly anticipated and the teasers of the game only increased fan excitement.The latest gameplay trailer forGhost of Tsushimagave players an idea of what to expect and the director of the game, Nate Fox, has added clarity to the display in a recent interview. The game is set in 13th century Japan and breaks the usual mold of games from the developer Sucker Punch. Sucker Punch is largely known for thewell-receivedInfamousfranchisewhich allowed players to explore an open-world only in a completely different setting. In an interview, Nate Fox revealed that thatGhost of Tsushimawon’t only be a different setting but a much larger open-world than the developer has previously produced.

Fox explained, “The map we showed during the State of Play was VERY zoomed in” and continued “that was just a little portion of the starting area, the actual map is huge.” The director ofGhost of Tsushimalater unpacked this with a comparison toInfamousstating that the game is bigger than anything the developer had produced. This interview also touched on several interesting topics including the fact that the main story content had yet to be revealed and that the gameplay demonstration showed a side mission.
