There are currently five entire nations with two under areas that players get to travel between either leisurely or in a completionist style.Genshin Impactdoes its fair share of spreading chests and treasures for players to find all across the open-world map.
However, very few players see a point in going all out and getting areas up to 100%. Most players don’t worry about how quickly they can 100% an area, but rather, how to best prepare for newGenshinImpactregions. But by not dedicating time to trying to get their area exploration as high as they can manage, players miss out on plentiful rewards. Primogems, constellations for their travelers, and sometimes level-up materials.

How Genshin Impact Encourages Exploration
Before diving into exploration, players should always take a step back and ensure they’re ready.Genshin Impactdoes its best to give players the means necessary to 100% areas, but if players do not capitalize on this, they will miss out. Making sure they have stamina food at the ready, theirbest exploration characters forGenshin Impact, and plenty of time at hand is vital.
One of the best rewardsGenshin Impactgives players throughout the map is Primogems. These can be racked up fairly quickly, as every chest grants these and theStatues of the Sevengive 60 for every level up. Luckily, the Statues are one of the first thingsGenshin Impacthelps players level up when it comes to exploration. By hitting certain reputation levels for the respective nation, players can obtain Oculi compasses and fly through the Statue levels. This goes by even faster if there is a member in the party who has a passive talent that lights up nation specialties.

Some regions are hardto explore inGenshinImpact. Even with the right foods and party members, there are some areas that are hard to traverse and frustrate players to no end. Thankfully, these areas tend to be single regions (for example, Dragonspine) and have more chests and trials packed into them as compensation. Following the Dragonspine example, another wayGenshin Impactfinds a way to add more rewards for players is with its regional trees. From the tree in Dragonspine to the Aranara tree in Sumeru, there are plenty of spaces to gather Primogems and level up material across Teyvat.
These trees are typically leveled up with the sigil for the region, found most times in chests. Thenational trees covering such a wide range of rewards is wonderful, but even more so when Crowns andGenshin Impact’s talent booksare involved. These items are usually locked behind events, for Crowns, or specific days for talent books. If a player misses a day, loses track of time, or even forgets, those talent books will have to wait a few more days before they can be farmed. Having even a slight leg up on character materials is always a good thing.
Another, not rewarding, thing for players to collect as they explore isGenshin Impact’s viewpoints. They do not reward the player anything, but they can be fun to hunt down when players are feeling bored in-game and have accomplished everything else they need to. But even though there is no prize to it, it still gives players an exciting experience that they could enjoy with friends.
