Is It Worth Pulling For Tighnari In Genshin Impact?
When compared tootherGenshin Impactcharacters, Tighnari is not as powerful as a meta unit like Hu Tao or Ganyu. However, while he’s not overpowered, his kit is rather balanced and he’s not weak either.
Therefore,if players are looking for a decent Dendro damage dealer, then Tighnari is worth pulling for. However, for those seeking meta units, unfortunately, Tighnari is not that powerful.

Furthermore, asTighnari will be available on the Standard Banner, it may be better to wait for other Dendro units like Nahida or Alhaitham.
Tighnari Is Not Ganyu
While his kit may seem similar toGenshin ImpactGanyu, he’s not a main DPS like the Qilin. The Forest Watcher relies on his level 2 Charged Attack to deal damage, but it takes really long to charge it. To properly use this part of his kit, players must use Tighnari’s Elemental Skill first. After doing so, his next three Charged Attacks can be done with barely any casting time.
If players wish for their Tighnari to be similar to Ganyu, then they need to get Tighnari’ssixth Constellation inGenshin Impact.

Tighnari Is Not A Main DPS
After casting Elemental Skill, Burst, and shooting his three Charged Attacks, it’s best to swap Tighnari out until his Skill is ready again. Because of this,The Forest Watcher is better suited as a Sub-DPS rather than a Main DPS. Considering he gives off the impression of being a Main DPS, any player should know this before pulling for Tighnari.
Tighnari Is Great At Triggering Spread
The new Dendro Elemental Reaction inGenshin Impactbasically demands Dendro characters to be played with an Electro unit. This holds true at the very least for Tighnari.
The first5-star Dendro character inGenshin Impactis great at triggering Spread, due to his hits being multi-hits. Because Tighnari shoots five arrows on his Charged Attack and up to 12 on his ultimate, the Forest Watcher can trigger multiple Spreads at each shot.

For example, the first hit of Tighnari’s Charged Attack always triggers Spread, along with one of the other four arrows. Meanwhile, for his ultimate, two of the first six initial arrows will trigger Spread, along with two of the second wave’s arrows.
For Tighnari’s strengths and weaknesses, here’s a quick overview:
