Talking about scaling, Jean’s DMG, healing, and other utilities all scale with her ATK%. The more ATK she has, the better her performance is. Of course, to maximize her usefulness, players should build her properly by giving her a good sword with the right set of artifacts.
6Favonius Sword
Most supports inGenshin Impactwould gladly wield a Favonius weapon. Similar to Sacrificial Sword,Favonius Swordalso grants Energy Recharge and the ability to support the team’s Energy regeneration. It’s not as effective as Amenoma but still can get the job done. Festering Desire puts up some hard hit on Jean’s Elemental Skill, increasing Gale Blade’s DMG and CRIT Rate.

Amenoma Kageuchi is Jean’sbest Forgeable weapon inGenshin Impact. The 4-star weapon turns Jean’s Elemental Burst into an Energy-less move. That’s because every time Jean casts Elemental Skill, she will stack a Succession Seed (up to three). Then, when she unleashes her Bursts, these Succession Seeds will help her refill it easily. It’s important to note that when using Amenoma Kageuchi, players have to keep switching Jean in every few seconds to cast her Skill and build the stacks that will eventually refill her Elemental Burst.
2Freedom-Sworn
As anAnemo user inGenshin Impact, Jean can operate as a full support, by equipping 4-Viridescent Venerer. Jean’s role turns into constantly triggering Swirl to shred enemies’ resistance. To fully transition into the supportive role, Jean needs to have buffs and Elemental Mastery, in addition to attack for keeping her healing working effectively.
