Gorou is a Geo Support inGenshin Impact. He can match characters that depend on their defense to fulfill their roles, and since most Geo characters scale with their DEF like Arataki Itto, Albedo, Yun Jin, and Noelle, Gorou perfectly excels as a Geo Support.
For that, his weapon should reflect his Supportive capabilities or even add new ones. SomeGenshin Impactweapons can give Gorou the effect to buff his team, while others have the ability to regenerate everyone’s energy.

The Best Weapons For Gorou In Genshin Impact
Gorou’s buffs scale with his Talents’ levels and no other stat. This scaling mechanic gives him the freedom and flexibility to do more support with his Artifacts and weapons. Because of this, Favonius Warbow is the best weapon tobuild Gorou inGenshin Impact.
Favonius Warbow
Since Gorou is a Support character andFavonius’s weapons are great forGenshin Impact’s supportive roles, it becomes natural to match these two. Gorou is a bad battery and can’t get his Burst to stay active at all times.
Therefore, he needs the Energy Recharge Favonius Warbow provides, alongside its passive to regenerate more Energy. With this equipment, the Canine Warrior will get to maintain his own Burst while helping his team regenerate Energy at the same time.
Elegy For The End
For players that like to spend and give their characters something shiny and new, Elegy for the End operates perfectly with Gorou. It’s very easy forthe 5-Star’s passive effect to stack, and when it does, all party members will gain 100 Elemental Mastery and 20% ATK.
This weapon is like a better version of Noblesse and can form an amazing combo with it too, giving Gorou the ability to increase his team’s ATK by 40%. However, Gorou’s kit mostly buffs DEF and Geo DMG, so +40% ATK will not matter for most of the characters he supports. Favonius Warbow is still a much easier and better choice.
Sacrificial Bow
Since Gorou’s buffs don’t scale with any of his stats, he only needs Energy Recharge to be able to keep casting his Elemental Burst.Sacrificial Bow offers Gorou a 30% Energy Rechargeand the ability to skill again and gain more Energy. Other than that, it really doesn’t give much. This Bow is only viable if players didn’t have Favonius Warbow, which is practically impossible.
