AlthoughGenshin Impact’s next major updateis weeks away from release, some reliable leaks about it have popped up online, with one claiming that players will get a free copy of Gaming in celebration of the Lantern Rite event. Also, version 4.4 will allegedly add a couple of weapons, with which players can boost their characters' stats.
When the version 4.4 update debuts early next year,Genshin Impact’s Liyue region will get even biggerand introduce several Adeptus, mythical beings that rule their homeland. The newly introduced Anemo character, Xianyun, is one such deity that will become playable in the upcoming version. As always, there will be two phases in update 4.4, with the first one adding several Liyue-based characters, including Gaming, to the playable roster. Featuring loads of content, it will reportedly be twice the size of a regular version.
The latestGenshin Impactleak from HomDgCatrevealed that version 4.4 will set players against a brand-new boss named Hidden Beast of the South, which has some Adepti powers and resistance to Anemo/Hydro elements. It will reportedly deal Hydro damage and increase its all-type RES by 200% in combat. Also, Hidden Beast of the Mount is rumored to be one of the tankiestbosses inGenshin Impact, which means players will need a well-rounded team to hunt it down. They will likely encounter the enemy somewhere in Liyue, given that version 4.4 is centered around this region.
As per the leak, Hidden Beast of the Mount creates three orbs that increase resistance, and players can destroy them to paralyze the enemy. It will also be added toGenshin Impact’s Spiral Abyss, where it will use Adeptal powers more frequently. Given that version 4.4 is at least a month away from release, this leak may turn out to be incorrect in the end.
There are a number of enemies running aroundGenshin Impact’s Teyvat, including bosses that can sometimes be annoying to defeat. The majority of these creatures live in remote areas and caves, which are a long way from cities and therefore difficult to locate. As players progress in the Archon story, they get through challenging boss fights that reward them with ascension materials and other valuable items. In comparison to world bosses, weekly bosses are usually easier to defeat because they have less HP and resistance.
