Sheer Cold is a status effect that can kill players in no time flat, and this article needed an edition on how to properly handle Sheer Cold. How to Unlock the Statue of the Seven in Dragonspine
The Dragonspine Statue of the Seven is located along the road south out ofMondstadt, across the bridge to Dragonspine, and a little south from the border. Since players won’t unlock the map for the area until after interacting with the Statue, the best way to find it is to follow the road. When the road dead ends, players should head left (east) until the come across a big ruin. The Statue will be at the top of the ruin.
OnceGenshin Impactplayers get there, however, they will notice that the Statue is surrounded by unbreakable ice. In order to get rid of it, they will have to find some Scarlet Quartz.
Scarlet Quartz in Genshin Impact
To put things simply,Genshin Impactplayersthat are looking to unblock the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven must first pickup a Scarlet Quartz, and there is one located very near to the tower. More specifically, fans that are facing the frozen Statue should turn around and head back to the circular chasm that is just across the narrow pathway. On the far side of this hole, players will see a red crystal, and they should attack it until it breaks and releases a Scarlet Quartz.

Upon collecting this Quartz, players will notice that their character has a red sort of forcefield around them. This indicates that they now have the ability to break the magical ice around the Statue. But they should move quickly; there is a timer on the Scarlet Quartz buff.
Return to the Dragonspine Statue of the Seven and begin to attack the ice in front of it. While this approach would not have proven effective prior to picking up the Scarlet Quartz, the temporary buff that the mineral provides will allow players to make short work of the block. From there, fans will be free to approach the Statue and interact with it to more fully reveal theDragonspine area inGenshin Impact.
How to Stay Safe from Sheer Cold in Dragonspine
