AGenshin Impactfan has noticed an unusual detail about one of the most recent characters, the new Dendro user Kirara. This four-star unit is the game’s most recently introduced character who arrived on the first banner in the current version 3.7.

Even though the Dendro element arrived just a couple of months ago, with Kirara’s introduction, the number of Dendro users inGenshin Impacthas surpassed the number of characters that use a Geo Vision. Players who want to get this unique four-star character have two more weeks to do so since her banner is scheduled to expire around June 14.

HoYoverse’s official announcement has confirmed that Kirara is a Youkai, a mythical creature in Japanese culture recognizable by having two tails. A Reddit user named Feed_or_Feed has pointed out an interesting detail about Kirara’s tails that many players might have missed. The in-game screenshot shown in the post proves that Kirara’s tails are shaped like a hexagon which feels weird since most tails in Genshin Impact and other games are generally round. Many fans claim that the main reason behind this low poly tail model is to keep the game’s performance intact, especially forGenshin Impact’s mobile players. However, a lot of comments have pointed out that the game should feature high-quality textures when playing on other devices such as PC or PS5.

This Dendro character is one of the most excitingfour-star units inGenshin Impactat the moment. Holding her unique Elemental Skill, Meow-teor Kick will make Kirara curl up into a delivery box which grants additional movement speed and the ability to climb up walls much easier. She will also deal damage to all enemies that find themselves in her path.

This makes her a great character for exploration which also makes sense lore-vise since she works for Komaniya Express, a popular delivery company in the Inazuma region.Kirara’s Elemental Burst Suprise Dispatch, makes her deploy a special delivery package that deals AoE Dendro damage. After it explodes, it will split up into many Dendro mines that explode if they are approached by an enemy.

While Kirara is probably not a must-have character for most Dendro teams, she can be a valuable asset, especially for new players who can run into stamina issues while exploring the vast world of Teyvat. She is currently placed on the same banner asthe two five-star characters Yoimiya and Yae Miko.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
