While exploring the Chenyu Vale inGenshin Impact, it’s hard to miss Chizhang Wall’s ruins in the middle of the area. Not only is the vicinityfilled with puzzles and Chests, but there’s also a large gate by the main building that players can open.

Diffuser Inscription Puzzle At Chizhang Wall In Genshin Impact
The Diffuser Inscription inGenshin Impactshows you where to go to get the items required to open the gate at Chizhang Wall ruins. There aretwo Fragrant Woodsthat players must get before the option tooffer incenseappears by the Diffuser.
Once you get the two required Fragrant Woods, head back to the object and activate the text again. If bothWoods are in players’ inventory, there’s now an option tooffer incenseat the end of the prompt. Press this, and use bothFragrant Wood HuangcongandFragrant Wood Chizhang.
The gate for the ruins will now open, and you can head in to check out the hidden treasures inside, especially the Spirit Carp inGenshin Impact. Before entering, however, it’shighly recommended to prepare a team as there will be a small fight inside. When players come close to one of the Chests in the vault, the Ruin Grader inside will stand and the robot must be defeated if Travelers wish to open the Chests.
After destroying theRuin Grader inGenshin Impact, you can now claim two Common Chests and one Luxurious Chest for a total of 14 Primogems. In the middle of the altar, players can also find an Ancient Jade Pendant, which can be activated using Jade Fragments.
Fragrant Wood Guide In Genshin Impact
Here’s how players can get the two Fragrant Woods needed in thisGenshin Impactpuzzle.
Fragrant Wood “Huangcong”
Go to the ruins southeast of the Chizhang Wall ruins, and find a locked Diffuser that will open after players complete the Ancient Ruins puzzle. To solve the riddle, first,take a small pillar in the area and place it on the platform next to it,which will open a gatethat contains another ruin piece.
Take the second ruin piece to the other side of the first gate, on the platform at the bottom of the stairs.
Take the first small pillar and place it near the top of the stairs to open the gate.Destroy the breakable rockinside the newly-opened second gate to reveal the final ruin piece.
Next, players must use the three ruin pieces they find and assemble them near the Diffuser.
Fragrant Wood “Chizhang”
Fragrant Wood “Chizhang” is easier to get inGenshin Impact. First, beat the Automaton and kick the sleeping Ruin Hunter and defeat it to reveal the smallest ruin piece in a hidden compartment. Place this piece on the middle pedestal.
Head to a small puddle and take the largest ruin piece and put it next to the Diffuser.
Finally, head down the stairs and find a time challenge next to a locked gate.Start the challenge, then use the summoned water pearls to access the room behind the gate. Players don’t have to complete the time challenge to proceed from here.
Place the final ruin piece on the bottom of the stairs to get Fragrant Wood “Chizhang” inGenshin Impact.
