When players first beginGenshin Impactthe first person to join the player’s party without the need for wish rolls is Amber. While she is not the best out there for battle, she is still helpful with her passive ability and her ability to use Pyro element attacks.
As wishes are purely luck based, players may have Amber as their only Pyro user inGenshin Impactfor a long time. This doesn’t mean that players can’t still give Amber a good build in the meantime while waiting for a better Pyro user.

Even when players aren’tusing Amber for battle, she is still helpful for players using exploration teams. This is because of her passive talent known as Champion Glider. This decreases gliding stamina consumption of all characters in the player’s party by 20% if Amber is also in the party.
Amber Support Build
For players that want Amber to play more of asupport role inGenshin Impactparties, this is the best way to go about it. These items will bring out Amber’s Elemental Skill and Burst abilities on the field.
When picking abow inGenshin Impact, players will want to choose either the Favonius Warbow or The Stringless. The Favonius Warbow has a special ability that gives it the chance to generate one elemental orb upon getting a critical hit. The elemental orbs will restore six energy for Amber each. Meanwhile, The Stringless will increase Amber’s elemental skill and elemental burst damage.
Fora powerful artifact set, players should pick either the Noblesse Oblige set or The Exile set. When a character has two items of the Noblesse Oblige set they will get +20% to all elemental burst damage. With four items of this set, Amber using an elemental burst will increase the attack of all party members for 20% for 12 seconds. If players choose The Exile set, two items will increase her energy recharge by 20% and four items will cause Amber’s elemental bursts to regenerate two energy for other party members for six seconds.
Amber DPS Build
Players that want to use Amber for DPS can use these items for her build.
When choosing a weapon, players can choose between the Royal Bow or Amos' Bow. The Royal Bow will increase Amber’s critical hit rate by 8% for every time she damages the enemy. This can stack up to five times and a critical hit will remove all stacks. Amos' Bow meanwhile will increase the damage of all of her shots with the damage going up the further away Amber is from the target.
The only artifact set players should use for DPS Amber is the Wanderer’s Troupe set. With two parts of the set, Amber’selemental masterywill go up by 80. If players have four of the set, Amber’s charged attack damage will go up by 35%.
