An ingeniousElden Ringplayer crafted a masterful video showing several dumb ways to die in the game. The Lands Between is a dangerous place and there are countless ways to get killed inElden Ring, but not many are as hilarious as these.
Anyone who has played it knowsElden Ringis a difficult game, to say the least. Not only it has some ofthe hardest bosses everamong its roster of over 200 bosses but, following the Soulslike paradigm, each combat encounter has high stakes. While it may not be the hardest FromSoftware ever due to its open world design, which allows players more paths to circumvent difficult fights, the sheer scope of the adventure also creates several new ways for players to meet their deaths in funny ways.

The newElden Ringvideo, which was created by Reddit user TheGreatZephyrical, showcases how hilarious it can be to drop dead in the latest FromSoftware title. The clip has three minutes and shows dozens of hilarious deaths, showing the main character entering lava, falling into the abyss several times, being wrecked by enemies in one hit, or even killing themselves.
With several deaths that happen due to poor timing or simply stupidity, it makes for an entertaining video. Also, some of the deaths showed a level of randomness and sheer insanity that could be matched by other videos such as the one in which anElden Ringplayer is killed by a teardrop scarab, one of the most harmless enemies in the game.
In the Reddit thread, some players complimented TheGreatZephyrical’s editing skills, as some of the deaths perfectly matched the lyrics of the background song, “Dumb Ways to Die” by Tangerine Kitty. Others felt represented by the video, as they got their share of stupid deaths while exploring, too.
Elden Ringis full of memorable moments, and fortunately, many of them were recorded by clever gamers. Recently, anElden Ringplayer was saved from death by an elevatorwhile he was invading another gamer’s world. The player in question was running carelessly through a dungeon and fell into an elevator pit thinking it would be safe. They were about to die due to fall damage, but the elevator was going up at the time, and caught them at the exact necessary moment to save them, an amazing coincidence that would certainly not happen twice.
Elden Ringis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
