Fortnite’sSeason 3 Week 7 challengesare live right now, and one of them instructs players to collect Floating Rings at Weeping Woods. While it will be easy enough for fans to find Weeping Woods, as it is a named location on the map just southwest of The Authority, locating the Floating Rings that are there is slightly more challenging, and indeed some players may be looking for a bit of assistance with this new weekly challenge.

To note, all five of the Floating Rings at Weeping Woods are located on the tops of trees, and they are accessed most easily by dropping in on them at the beginning of a match. As such, while there are technically enough Floating Rings to complete the entirety of this newFortnitechallenge in one go, players should probably plan to work on this task over several matches.

where are the floating rings at weeping woods

This new weekly challenge is certainly not the first time thatFortnitefans have been tasked with collecting Floating Rings during Season 3, though it appears that things are working a bit more smoothly this time around. Indeed, theFloating Rings were buggedin previous weekly challenges, and many fans will be happy to know that this does not currently appear to be the case with the rings at Weeping Woods.

It should thus be quite easy for players to collect all of the Floating Rings in Weeping Woods, with the assistance of the map above, and fans that do will receive 35,000 XP for their efforts. While this is not a staggering amount of XP, it will certainly be appreciated by those that are still working on unlocking the highest tiers ofFortnite’s Season 3 Battle Pass.

Once a player has grabbed a Floating Ring or two at Weeping Woods, they may want to head down to Slurpy Swamp, as that is the site of another Season 3 Week 7 challenge. Alternatively, fans can make their way east to collect some Stone atFortnite’s Rapid’s Restfor yet another challenge, which, like the Floating Rings challenge detailed here, will likely need to be completed over the course of several matches.

Fortniteis available now Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions in development.
