Earlier this week, frequentFortniteleaker HYPEX claimed that the next season of the popular battle royale game would be Marvel-themed, which has since been confirmed by Epic Games. TheFortniteleaks haven’t slowed down, though, with HYPEX offering fans some specific details about what they can expect fromFortniteSeason 4 in terms of Marvel-themed skins, confirming a new skin based on Marvel’sX-Menfranchise.

According to HYPEX,FortniteSeason 4will be adding a skin based on popular X-Men member Storm. Apparently,FortniteSeason 4’s Marvel theme will be focused on the comic books instead of the movies, so the Storm skin will be based on her comic book appearance. However, with Storm having appeared in Marvel comics for decades, it’s unclear exactly which of her looks will be making it intoFortniteSeason 4.

Besides Storm, HYPEX has previously stated that aWolverine skin is coming toFortnite. It’s unclear if even more X-Men skins will be coming toFortnitein Season 4, but fans should find out more information onceFortniteSeason 4 kicks off on August 27.

While it’s unclear ifFortniteSeason 4 will have more X-Men skins, HYPEX has previously leaked other Marvel skins for the upcoming season of the battle royale game. Fans can expect most of these skins to be available as premium purchases throughFortnite’s store, but some of them will also be part of the new Battle Pass. According to HYPEX, one such Marvel-themed Battle Pass skin will be based on none other than the fan favorite sentient tree characterGroot ofGuardians of the Galaxyfame.

Another Marvel skinFortnitefans can expect to come in Season 4 is one based on the God of Thunder himself,Thor. In fact, it seems like Season 4 will be mainly focused on Thor instead of other Marvel characters, if the official teases from Epic Games are anything to go by. According to leaks, Thor will even have his very own Point of Interest on theFortnitebattle royale map once the Season 4 changes go into effect, not unlike how Aquaman got his own POI in Season 3.

FortniteSeason 4 is far from the first time that the battle royale has crossed over with Marvel Comics. Previously,Fortnitehosted limited-time events to help promote theAvengers: Infinity WarandAvengers: Endgamemovies, and it also released aCaptain America skinto celebrate the 4th of July holiday in the United States. It seems safe to say that theFortniteMarvel crossovers will continue for the foreseeable future as well.

Fortniteis out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
