Recon Scanners are special pieces of equipment that can be found during Season 7 ofFortnite. Like manyspecial weapons in Season 7, Recon Scanners will be found in IO chests. The first step to completing the Week 7 quest is to make a beeline for an IO chest and hope that it drops a Recon Scanner.
Active players might already have chest locations memorized, but many other games might need some help figuring outwhere to find IO chests. There are seven specific locations where IO chests can be found, but a good rule of thumb is to head for any of the large facilities being guarded by powerful NPCs.
How to Use Recon Scanner to Spot an Enemy Player in Fortnite
The Recon Scanner is a very useful tool during regularFortnitegameplay. Firing the weapon will send out a large wave with a fairly large radius and range. This wave travels through buildings and marks any players that are caught in it.
