Players can claim Optimus Prime as a Battle Pass reward, but they best hurry, as the leader of the Autobots won’t be around forever, and Optimus Prime’sFortniteskin is a Battle Pass exclusive, so if players miss out, it’s gone for good.

Every season,Fortnitefeatures a brand-new skin, that could either be a collaboration or ofFortnite’s design. Lately, theTier 100 Outfithas been exclusive for collaboration characters, and now, Optimus Prime from theTransformersfranchise joins the fight.
To unlock Optimus Prime inFortnite, players will need to reachPage 14, Level 94on the Battle Pass. Once at Level 94, players can spend9 Battle Starsto obtain the legendary Autobot leader. It may be quite the grind, but it’s certainly worth it, even if players can’t transform into a truck.
It’s also worth noting that upon unlocking Optimus Prime inFortnite, players will receive theBarrage Cannon, theBuilt-In Emotefor Optimus Prime that turns his right arm into a giant cannon. Sadly, players can’timprove their aimand use this cannon on enemies.
What Does Optimus Prime Come With?
Optimus Prime’s cosmetics inFortniteall come in onPage 14. Players can obtain a few goodies, including aLoading Screenby artistDavid Nakayama, which features Optimus Prime charging into battle with the caption “Protect others. No matter the cost.” It shows Optimus Prime’s determination and self-sacrifice, and this can be obtained atLevel 90for3 Battle Stars.
The second item players can claim at Level 90 is theAutobot Emblem Backbling, which has a price of 5 Battle Stars. This Backbling is the proud crest of the Autobots, complete with the caption “Autobots, Roll Out!” It has a nice metallic finish with a red coat of paint.
For3 Battle Stars, players will be able to purchase theG1 Optimus Prime Sprayon Page 14. This will enable players to leave their mark on the battlefield, spraying walls, floors, and ceilings with some graffiti art that depicts Optimus Prime with his axe, and Cybertron behind him.

An additional3 Battle Starson page 14 will net players theRoll Out! Emoticonwill further enable players to express themselves on the battlefield. This animated Emoticon features the Autobots emblem, before transforming into the words “Roll Out”.
Perhaps the best thing on Page 14 ofFortnite’s Chapter 4, Season 3 Battle pass is theCybertronian Axe, a pickaxe that players can “Wield with honor.” This is the weapon wielded by Optimus Prime, and now players can use it as a harvesting tool inFortnitefor7 Battle Stars.
Lastly, for5 Battle Stars, players will be able to pick up100 V-Bucks, which although is always a Battle Pass reward worth picking up to help purchase the next season’s Battle Pass or buy some great skins inFortnite’s Item Shop.
Battle-Tested Style
When players reach Tier 100, they might be thinking to themselves that Optimus Prime looks rather clean, as if he hasn’t seen a day of battle, or that he’s just enjoyed a nice car wash and a fresh coat of paint to help him polish up. However, players that want the more battle-worn style can claim it from theBonus Rewardspage on their Battle Pass, making for one of thebest Fortnite skins in the 2020s.

Once players have claimed all Battle Pass Rewards, they will need towork their way through the Bonus Rewardspage until they reachPage 3. On Page 3, players can pick up Optimus Prime’sBattle-Tested stylefor 20 Battle Stars. This means that players will need to reach at leastLevel 120.
How To Get Optimus Prime Fast
There are a multitude of ways that players will be able to unlock Optimus Prime fast inFortnite. Players will need all the XP they can get, and luckily, there are some neat tricks for players to get XP fast inFortnite, thus reaching Tier 100 faster than the averageFortniteplayer.
Players can earn a certain amount of XP a day by playing Save the World, and a certain amount of XP a day by playing some Creative maps. However, for the majority of players’ XP, they are going to want to play the Battle Royale mode, where they will open chests, and containers, geteliminations like John Wickand win the game.
The most effective way of getting XP will come in the form of Challenges and Quests. Players can earn up to 30,000 XP per Quest completion, andFortnitereleases new quests every week, allowing players to rank up their Battle Pass, although they may need to be patient and wait for the next bunch of Quests to continue their XP surge.
How Long Do Players Have To Unlock Optimus Prime?
FortniteChapter 4, Season 3 started onJune 9, 2023. This means that from today, players can begin the race to unlock Optimus Prime in the Battle Pass before he is gone for good. The date thatFortniteChapter 4, Season 3 ends isAugust 25, 2023. This meaning that players have77 daysfrom the start date until Optimus Prime isgone for good.
Maximizing the XP bundles players can obtain, or even purchasing Battle Star tiers from the Battle Pass, will ensure that players do not miss out on claiming Optimus Prime from the Battle Pass. This is another “Darth Vader” situation, where Optimus Prime is exclusive to the seasonal Battle Pass, and won’t ever debut in the Item Shop.
