WithFate/Grand Order’s3rd anniversary, players so far have received free rewards and much needed materials to enhance their servants. The annual celebration also brings the return of several limited servants and thedebut of Skadi from Lostbelt 2in the gacha. But the 2 week event has a more challenging side for players caught up with the main story.
For each chapter of Part 1 and Part 1.5, there’s a memorial quest tied to a important boss fight. Note that each memorial quest can only be played after completing its respective story and the first 7 must be completed in order. While all the enemies have upgraded health bars and new tricks in some cases, the key to defeating them remains mostly the same as before.

RELATED:Fate/Grand Order: 3rd Anniversary Event and Rewards
First Singularity Memorial Quest
Gilles de Rais - 688,806 HP
As a Caster-class servant, Gilles doesn’t hit very hard and players should have many fantastic Riders including several welfares likeRyoumathat can heavily damage or one-shot Gilles with an NP. However, Gilles will sometimes use a skill that increases his debuff resistance or decrease the NP strength of 1 servant, so be aware when bringing Charm servants or if the main damage dealer gets the NP debuff.

Second Singularity Memorial Quest
Demon God Flauros - 666,666 HP
Flauros' unique class deals double damage against Saber, Archers, Lancers, and Berserkers. Riders, Assassins, Casters, and Berserkers are a good choice because they deal double damage but any Avengers only take half damage as well. Flauros' normal attacks are AOE, but this can benefit the party since it will charge their NP gauge especially if they can sustain through with healing or defense debuffs to finish it off after.
Third Singularity Memorial Quest
Heracles - 675,789 HP
Although Heracles is an intimidating servant inFate/stay nightand under the player’s control, his Berserker-class status means that he can be defeated by any servant with the proper setup. If players are having difficulties then using taunts, Euryale or other charm-lock servants, and Foreigners can further simplify this fight.

Fourth Singularity Memorial Quest
Nikola Tesla - 677,658 HP
Tesla is a fight that could cause major problems with skills that charge NP and a chance to pierce invincibility. As an Archer, Tesla will use his AOE NP after 3 turns but likely sooner depending on skill usage. Bring Lancers with single target NPs such as Cu Chulainn since he also has Guts to survive in case Tesla’s NP pierces evades. Alternatively, servants that can stun or decrease NP charge are great as well.
Karna - 301,267 HP
Thomas Edison - 182,000 HP
Helena Blavatsky - 183,897 HP
Karna is a Lancer while Edison and Helena are both Caster-class servants. Bring a single-target Saber to deal with Karna as soon as possible. Once he goes down, the fight against the remaining Casters becomes much easier especially with Riders. Note that all of their NPs are AOE while Edison and Helena can both charge their NP gauge, so bringing a servant that grants Evade to the party like David can help deal with an unexpected NP next turn.
Sixth Singularity Memorial Quest
Goddess Rhongomyniad - 675,739 HP
This Lancer version of Altria Pendragon can charge her NP, but even worse is said NP automatically pierces invulnerability and will probably one-shot the player’s frontline. Once again, single-target Sabers are the best option to deal with Goddess Rhongomyniad. However, she also has traits like Dragon and Arthur which make AOESaberswith special damage like Siegfried and Mordred good choices as well.
Seventh Singularity Memorial Quest
Kingu - 672,172 HP
Kingu is so angry that they’ve become an Avenger-class servant for this fight. Players who finished last year’s Fate/CCC event should use BB since her unique Moon Cancer class has class advantage against Kingu and can stun them. Without BB, Berserkers also work although supports and taunters may be needed to draw Kingu and his single-target NP away.
Pseudo-Singularity 1 Memorial Quest
Moriarty - 547,400 HP/176,905 HP
Returning to Part 1.5 means multiple HP bars are also back. Moriarty is an Archer and his gimmick debuffs one servant with either a Skill Seal or NP Seal for 1 turn. After breaking his first HP bar, one servant will get a taunt debuff for 3 turns while the gimmick becomes buff removal on one servant and NP seal on another servant. Bring or borrow a powerful single-targetLancersuch as Summer Tamamo who can one-shot both HP bars with her special damage against males.
Megalos - 308,340 HP/205,560 HP/182,720 HP
Columbus - 203,927 HP/150,262 HP
Megalos retains his skills including the ability to put a taunt on one party member. Breaking Megalos' first 2 HP bars will buff his Critical Damage and chance, but also give a Quick and Arts self debuff respectively. As a result, it’s important to defeat Megalos as soon as possible since breaking Columbus' HP bar will buff them both with pierce invincibility and destroy the player’s team. Bring strong servants and Assassins like Shiki to deal with Megalos and finish Columbus off afterwards.
Pseudo-Singularity 3 Memorial Quest
Rider of Kalasutra Hell (Minamoto no Raikou) - 288,000 HP/172,000 HP
Berserker of Samghata Hell (Shuten-Douji) - 182,250 HP/267,300 HP
ThisFGOmemorial battle is the second hardest because players are forced to take Miyamoto Musashi as a frontline support. Consider using the Chaldea Combat Uniform to immediately swap Musashi at the start of the fight. Because of Shuten’s NP drain on attack effect and Berserker class, players should finish her first and save their burst damage after breaking Shuten’s first HP bar when she becomes immune to debuffs. Afterwards, Raikou’s Rider class is more easily dealt with using Assassins, but note her Critical Damage is massively buffed when breaking her first HP bar. Strong Assassins are the way to win this fight with special mention to Carmilla and Jack the Ripper since they have special damage to females on their NPs.
Pseudo-Singularity 4 Memorial Quest
Abigail Williams - 254,745 HP
Before fighting Abigail, there are 2 Caster-class mobs that let the player build up their servants' crit stars and NP gauge. Abigail immediately debuffs the party with defense down and a chance to stun them for 3 turns at the start. Abigail only has 1 HP bar, but her health will reset every time until she’s defeated 5 times. Bring an Alter Ego servant or support for class advantage and use stuns or taunts when Abigail’s NP is charged to drastically simplify the fight.
Singularity F Memorial Quest
Saber Alter - 648,477 HP/939,965 HP/1,537,986 HP
The corrupted King of Knights who first appeared inHeaven’s Feelreturns again in the final memorial quest. With 3 massive HP bars, Saber Alter also goes after any support servants on the field first. Note that after breaking an HP bar, Saber Alter will buff herself with 1 NP charge, 1 Attack Up, and a chance to inflict defense down on her target. The key to defeating this Saber-class servant is to use Arts Archers like Summer Altria and Chloe von Einzbern that can constantly loop their NP or delay Saber Alter’s own AOE NP.
