While these projects have been announced, Bethesda fans are starting to think another title is coming from the publisher’s line of upcoming games.
From the looks of it, it appears that an announced Bethesda game might be released this year. Fans are starting to theorize which Bethesda game it could be after Marcel Hatam, the Senior Product Marketing Manager GSA at ZeniMax Germany, posted tenvideo games in 2024that he’s most looking forward to playing. Each entry is an announced and upcoming game, though his fourth pick merely reads “TBA game,” followed by the eyes emoji. Originally appearing on Hatam’s LinkedIn profile, the post shows images fromDragon Age: Dreadwolf,Star Wars Outlaws, andAssassin’s Creed: Codename Red.
Hatam’sLinkedIn postwas shared elsewhere, mainly on Twitter, where users provided hints and suggestions about the fourth entry/mystery game. Some believe it could be the next installment in theWolfensteinreboot series by MachineGames; others think it could be the aforementioned untitledIndiana Jones, also by MachineGames. Alternatively, there’s the idea that it could be a new game from id Software, with its last game beingQuake Championsfor 2022. Another suggestion is that the unknown game could be the sequel toGhostwire: Tokyo, resulting from theFTC v. Microsoft court case, which saw vital documents getting leaked to the public.
However, one user pointed out that Hatam’s fourth entry might not be apublished game from Bethesda Softworks. “This may not even be a Bethesda/Zenimax game. He has many third party games on there,” the user wrote. This seems somewhat unlikely, considering Hatam’s position as a product marketing manager for ZeniMax.
The fact thatBethesdamight be surprising its fans with a game this year is exciting to think about, yet Hatam’s “TBA” game could be anything from the ZeniMax family of games. However, judging by the ambiguity, the game could be something that’s not related to ZeniMax as well. Only time will tell in this case.
