Fans ofFinal Fantasy 7have fallen in love with various characters from the series, but none quite like Tifa Lockhart.Tifa made her debut inFinal Fantasy 7back in 1997 as the childhood friend of Cloud Strife, the main hero of the game. She’s first seen operating a bar named Seventh Heaven, located in the Sector 7 slums, that serves as a front for a group that she helps lead, known as Avalanche. Tifa is known for her compassion and impressive fighting abilities, and over the years, fans of the series have created countless artworks, apparel, and even fan-made action figures of the character. This most recent piece of fan art combines Tifa with another fan-favorite character fromResident Evil.

Thanks toFinal Fantasy 7 Remake, Tifa has become even more of a popular character as younger gamers are discovering her. Something similar is happening with Ada Wong, after the release of thecritically acclaimedResident Evil 4 Remake, as more people are discovering how cool that character is as well. Reddit User YoMikeeHey has posted art by RaidenWGT that shows what it would look like if Tifa dressed up as Ada Wong. The art itself is seamless, using Tifa’s updated facial features fromFinal Fantasy 7 Remakeand Ada’s new red costume fromResident Evil 4 Remake.
Ada Wong plays a small role in theResident Evilseriesbut has still managed to make a memorable impression on the fan base. Ada’s three main appearances in the series are inResident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4,andResident Evil 6. She’s portrayed as a femme-fatal character whose true allegiances can never be truly trusted, though she seems to actually care about Leon S. Kennedy, one of the main characters in the series. In the originalResident Evil 4, Ada wore a famous red dress that was later replaced by a more practical outfit, as shown in the fan art above.
With the release ofFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthin the first quarter of 2024, as well as an unnamed third and final game to complete the new trilogy, there’s no doubt that there will be more incredible Tifa fan art on the horizon. Also, if Capcom decides to release a remake ofResident Evil 6at a later date, there may be even more Tifa and Ada fan art mash-ups in the future.
