Amazon Germany has potentially leaked a newFalloutcollection calledFallout Legacy Collection. The listing appeared on Amazon a few days ago, and has yet to be removed, though such a collection hasn’t been announced by Bethesda. According to the listing,Fallout Legacy CollectioncontainsFallout,Fallout 2,Fallout Tactics,Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition,Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, andFallout 4: Game of the Year Editionin one package, with the price likely being around $40. Apparently, the collection will launch on October 25.
The listing only makes mention of a PC version ofFallout Legacy Collection, so those hoping to see classicFalloutgames make their way to consoles may be out of luck. Bethesda itself has yet to announce the collection, so it’s possible that the PC version doesn’t even come to fruition, or that it is exclusive to Germany. In any case, ifFallout Legacy Collectionis set to release on October 25 as the leaked Amazon listing claims, then an announcement should come sooner rather than later.

If Bethesda was planning to bring all of theFalloutseries to consoles as well as PC, it seems likely that it would have made such an announcement during itsE3 2019 press conference. Instead Bethesda’s E3 2019 press conference focused on new content coming toFallout 76, and it didn’t make much mention of any classicFalloutgames.
Interestingly enough,Fallout 76is seemingly the onlyFalloutgame not included in theFallout Legacy Collection. One could say that’s because it’s not part of the main series, butFallout Tacticsisn’t a main seriesFalloutgame either, and it’s part of the lineup. Maybe Bethesda opted tokeepFallout 76out of the collection due to the poor critical reception of that game, but an actual reason hasn’t been given at this time.
If anything, it seems like it would be to Bethesda’s advantage to bundleFallout 76in theFallout Legacy Collection. That way it could maybe convince someFalloutfans who haven’t triedFallout 76to check the game out, which could in turn increase its active player base. Whatever the case may be, we may learn more about Bethesda’s decision to leaveFallout 76out of theFallout Legacy Collectiononce it’s actually announced.
