Recently fans received a brief taste of Season 2 action and now publisher Devolver Digital is showing a little more to players.
Themedieval-themed new season ofFall Guyswas revealed during Gamescom with a trailer that highlighted new skins, a fresh season pass, and perhaps most excitingly, new levels. Fans had already seen most of what is included in the latest clip, but it does give a closer look at those skins and one of the new levels.

The short clip posted on the publisher’s Twitter page shows players all trying to climb on top of a castle wall. To get to the peak, however, they must push giant blocks and jump on top of them. This will be the first time the game will have moveable objects that are required to progress forward, like a puzzle element within a platforming game. The action is sure to cause a lot of hilarious and hair-pulling moments within thefree new season ofFall Guys.
It is likely that most fans anticipated themed seasons in terms of the season pass moving forward, but the matching levels to go along with it is a pleasant surprise. The entire season has a brand new coat of paint, with the new levels being castle and medieval based just like the skins and season pass. It also opens the door to future seasons inFall Guyshaving themes across all areas of the game, like an icy mini-game during a snow-based season, for example.
Along with its replayablity, easy to pick up nature, and hilarious moments,Fall Guyshas found success thanks to the core DNA of the game being solid. But the continued momentum of the game may be attributed to how the developer, Mediatonic, has been supporting it.
