Armor sets are a bit different in theConvergence Mod forElden Ring. Generally, each Convergence Modarmor set’s stats and requirementsremain unchanged. However, most weapons and armors now have additional bonuses – for the most part, these new bonuses can affect one’s melee and spellcasting ability, but some can also increase stats directly.

The best armor inthe Convergence Modis ultimately whatever set bonus will benefit a build more – you don’t want to go running around in the Dreadnought armor set, which increases Endurance, as a Caster build, especially because its bonuses are geared towards melee combat. But, these five armor sets either offer powerful bonuses for typical builds or are unique enough in other ways to warrant going out of the way to acquire.
Dreadnought Armor Set
The Dreadnought Armor set boasts bonuses to players' Endurance, Vigor, and hefty defensive stats to boot. It’s thestarting set for the Dreadnought class, of course, but it’s not found near where the Dreadnought starts inElden Ring.
The one major downside of the Dreadnought Armor set is its weight. Players who want to do a melee-only build that prioritizes Endurance may find itsurprisingly easy to stay under a Heavy load, but players who don’t ever level this Stamina-enhancing stat will have a harder time making it fit into a build.

Dreadnought Armor Set Location
The Dreadnought Armor can be found in the Graveyard area just south of the Warmaster’s Shask in northern Limgrave. From the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace, head into the woods to the northeast and look for this shack to the south of the road. After unlocking the Grace here, head south to find this set on a body sitting on a tomb – you might need to jump to be able to loot it.
Leyndell Knight Set
The Leyndell Knight set is not only one of the most glorious armor sets in vanillaElden Ring, it’s also one of the most useful armor sets for Convergence Mod player who dip into Incantations. Players who build into Lightning Incantations will find that this set fits both thematically and effectively.

The Leyndell Knight set, like the Dreadnought Set, is heavy and can require a lot of Endurance to equip without becoming overburdened. However, casters who don’t mind losing their fast roll with a Light Load will find this complements most Faith-based builds just fine.
Leyndell Knight Set Location
The Leyndell Knight set can be found, as one might have guessed,in the royal capital Leyndell. After the boss that replaces Godfrey (Sulian) in the Erdtree Sanctuary, players would normally encounter an invisible Scarab after descending down the elevator that drops Barrier of Gold. Instead, this Scarab now drops the Leyndell Knight set.
All-Knowing Set
The All-Knowing set is a powerful armor set that players can actually acquire relatively early inElden Ring. In the vanilla game, this set is found towards the end of the gameafter defeating Sir Gideon Ofnir, but in the Convergence Mod, it’s actually at the Fortified Manor, the reflection of Roundtable Hold in Leyndell.
The All-Knowing armor set offers a good bonus of weight, defensive stats, and boosts to Sorcery and magic-related attributes.

All-Knowing Set Location
Head to the Tower of Return in the Weeping Peninsula, and take the portal to end up at the top of Leyndell. Normally, the massive elevator found here won’t budge unless used from the other side, meaning players would have to go through all of the Royal Capital to get back to this point and unlock a shortcut. Thankfully, the Convergence Mod makes the elevator work from the get-go, allowing access to this replica of Roundtable Hold from the rear.
Briar Set
The Briar set enhances Briar magic spells inElden Ring, which are typically pretty underwhelming. But in the Convergence Mod, this type of magic is given new life, and there’s even a new starting class that takes advantage of this Sorcery’s newfound power: the Aberrant Heretic.

But the Abberant Heretic doesn’t start with the Briar armor set, they start with a set that offers similar buffs to their attributes related to spellcasting. But it’s undoubtedly one of the best armor sets for Sorcerers who want to try out these new powerful revamped spells, though it’s worth hunting down just for the Elden Bling value, too.
Briar Armor Set Location
The Briar armor set can only be acquired after playershave defeated Elemer of the Briar, the head Bell-Bearing Hunter and final boss of the Shaded Castle legacy dungeon. After killing Elemer, return to Roundtable Hold and speak with Enia, who will sell the Briar set for Runes as long as the Bell-Bearing hunter himself has been defeated.
Raging Wolf Set
The Raging Wolf set is undoubtedly one of themost iconic armor sets inElden Ring, one that was featured in a ton of promotion for the game before its launch, and one that’s become particularly beloved by players since it came out. In the Convergence Mod, it’s even better.
The Raging Wolf set retains its appearance, but it gains new stat bonuses to make melee combat a bit more efficient. Aside from these bonuses, though, the set’s low weight compared to its high defenses makes it a must-get for all melee builds that don’t focus on leveling up Endurance.

Raging Wolf Set Location
To get the Raging Wolf set in the Convergence Mod, players have to do the same thing they must do in the vanilla game: progress the Volcano Manor contracts questline. Players are eventually sent to kill two targets in Leyndell: a battlemage, and Vargram the Raging Wolf. By killing the Raging Wolf, players will automatically earn his armor set.
