Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotmay mainly focus on Goku’s journey, but the game will feature a number of other playable characters as well. It seems that newDragon Ball Z: Kakarotplayable characters are confirmed every few months, and now two more characters can be added to the lineup. It’s been confirmed by the latest issue ofWeekly JumpthatDragon Ball Z: Kakarotwill include Adult Gohan and Vegito as playable characters.
The inclusion of characters like Adult Gohan and Vegito shouldn’t come as a surprise to those who have been followingDragon Ball Z: Kakarotnews closely. SinceDragon Ball Z: Kakarotfeatures theentirety of theDragon Ball Zstoryline, it stands to reason that characters like Adult Gohan and Vegito would appear. However, having them as playable characters inDragon Ball Z: Kakarotmay be interesting to learn for some fans.

For the uninitiated, Adult Gohan is, as his name suggests, the adult version of Goku’s son Gohan. Gohan became an adult in the anime/manga well after theCell Games story arc, and sinceDragon Ball Z: Kakarotextends all the way to the Buu Saga, it makes sense that he would be in the game. Vegito, meanwhile, is a little bit more complicated.
Those who aren’t well-versed inDragon Ball Zlore may find Vegito confusing since he’s technically two different characters fused into one. During theBuu Saga,Dragon Ball Zcharacters started fusing together to increase their power levels so that they could effectively fight off greater threats. When Goku and Vegeta fused together, they created the super-powerful character Vegito, who is arguably the most powerful character inDragon Ball Z.
As for otherDragon Ball Z: Kakarotplayable characters that aren’t Goku, we know that both youngGohan and Trunks will be playablein the Cell saga, and Piccolo and Vegeta will also be playable at certain points as well. It’s quite possible thatDragon Ball Z: Kakarothas even more playable character it has yet to reveal, so fans should stay tuned for more information.
