Recently,Disney DreamlightValley players were shocked to discover what looks to be a well-hidden version of theKingdom Heartslogo. If players head toward Minnie Mouse’s house, and then look at the shadow that is reflected on the ground below, they can easily make out the same heart thatKingdom Heartsfans will be very familiar with. While this is just a small (and maybe even accidental)Kingdom Heartsreference withinDisney Dreamlight Valley, it is hard not to think about a potential crossover after seeing it.

Considering that Square Enix has collaborated with other games before, likeSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, it is not entirely out of the realm of possibility for a proper Disney game to get content from the beloved franchise. With howDisney Dreamlight Valley’s post-launch support has gone thus far, and by keeping the current systems of the game in-mind, it is easy to come up with potential content for this dream collaboration.

Kingdom Hearts Characters, Items, and Cosmetics in Disney Dreamlight Valley

First and foremost, a new Realm forDisney Dreamlight Valleycould be added that is filled withKingdom Heartsreferences for fans to appreciate. Of the options available to Gameloft,Hollow Bastionand Destiny Islands immediately come to mind. While work would need to be done to capture the feel of each area and make them stand out, as there is already a beach in Moana’s Realm and a castle to access the various Realm doors, these locations are the most recognizable ones from the franchise.

As for the figures tied to this Realm, Sora is obviously a must-have character. The beloved, big shoe-wearing teenager could take on his classic appearance or don his look from the upcomingKingdom Hearts 4, but either way his cheerful personality would fit perfectly intoDisney Dreamlight Valley. Seeing him converse with characters he has met before like Simba andUrsulacould be extremely entertaining, allowing for more subtleKingdom Heartshomages to be inserted. Gameloft could add a few otherKingdom Heartscharacters alongside Sora, too, letting fan favorites like Riku and Aqua accompany him.

While a character and a realm would be nice to have, items would surely be an even bigger draw forDisney Dreamlight Valleyplayers with a love for the classic Square Enix series. Gameloft could allow players to plant and harvest Paopu Fruits, of equip an alternate skin for their pickaxe that turns it into aKeyblade. Obviously, the love forKingdom Hearts’ Keyblades would not have to stop there, as some of the most iconic ones from the series could be displayed on the walls within players’ homes.

However, the most exciting aspect of all would be character cosmetics.Kingdom Heartsfans could get access to Sora’s comical shoes and his necklace as well as the hairstyles of all the major cast members. AnOrganization 13robe would undoubtedly be a popular item for players to collect, while players could also unlock some alternate looks for Sora based on some of his many world designs. With Riku’sKingdom Hearts 1armor and Aqua’s outfit being some other options for clothing, the sky is the limit for content based on the Square Enix property.

Realistically, Gameloft could fill an entireDisney Dreamlight ValleyStar pathwithKingdom Heartscontent while also adding a few themed items to the premium version of the game’s shop. Though such a crossover may never happen, as there would surely be a lot of red tape to get through, players would need plenty of Moonstones on hand if an event based on theKingdom Heartsfranchise ever became a reality.

Disney Dreamlight Valleyis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
