Disney Dreamlight Valley’s A Rift in Timeexpansion welcomes players to a massive new region called Eternity Isle; an island lost to time and filled with hidden treasures,secrets to uncover, and a rich but mysterious history evident in the numerous remnants from the past scattered throughout its biomes.
Shortly upon arriving at Eternity Isle, the player is welcomed to Ancient’s Landing, the first of three new areas available inA Rift of Time. This biome is unique compared to those previously explored, as it features many remnants of past settlements, including empty stalls, holographic communication terminals, and a plethora of new plants, andminerals to discover.
Eternity Isle also features landmarks which are much more familiar to players, includingGoofy’s Stallsin each biome, the now-shuttered Chez Remy, and a remote location of Scrooge’s Store that has also seemingly gone out of business.
Except for Goofy’s Stall, which stocks a variety of new seeds exclusive to Eternity Isle, Chez Remy and Scrooge’s Store are exact mirrors of their locations back in the Valley. Characters will appear inboth versions of the Remy’s Restaurant, depending on the player’s current location, and will have the same meal requests. Scrooge’s Store features the same item inventory at both locations, as well, and items purchased at one store will remain sold out at the other.
Nevertheless, with the majority ofA Rift in Time’s content requiring the player to spend most of their time on Eternity Isle, it’s extremely convenient to have these alternate locations available for completing daily activities without having to leave the isle. How to Start the Quest “New Ventures (And Adventures)”
To unlock and re-open Scrooge’s Store onA Rift in Time’s Eternity Isle, players will need to complete the quest“New Ventures (And Adventures).”This quest becomes available immediately after the player has arrived at Eternity Isle and completed its introductory quest, “The Port Of Many Worlds.”
Not far from the dock, players can spot Scrooge’s Store, the large building looking as run-down as it did in the Valley at the beginning ofDisney Dreamlight Valley’s main story. Head over to the building and interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign, collecting the Condemned Building Sign and starting the quest.
How to Complete the Quest “New Ventures (And Adventures)”
The player can find Scrooge McDuck close nearby and should speak to him, handing over the Condemned Building Sign in the process. Scrooge takes the sign and explains that while he did once run the store on Eternity Isle in the past, his operation has been closed for some time.
The player manages to convince Scrooge McDuck that he should re-open the shop on Eternity Isle, and Scrooge sends the player off to collect the necessary items tocomplete the repairs. The player needs to collect the following items from around the Ancient’s Landing biome:

After gathering the required materials, players should go back to Scrooge and give him the items from their inventory. Head back to the front of the building and interact with the signpost to reopen Scrooge’s Store on Eternity Isle. The store will maintain the upgrade level of its location in the Valley. Speaking with Scrooge again, he will conclude the quest and reward the player with 1,000 Star Coins.
