Digimon Surviveoffers plenty of variety when it comes to the many differentDigimon that players can befriend. Each one is slightly different, both in terms of design and personality, though the method for befriending them remains largely the same. As is often the case though, there are one or two big exceptions to this, the first of which being Numemon.

Usually, the process of making new friends inDigimon Surviveinvolves having a conversation and choosing the best replies. Due to Numemon being unable to speak, however, players will instead need to find another way to communicate with him. This means that those hoping to befriend Numemon will therefore need to study his actions and respond accordingly.
How to Befriend Numemon in Digimon Survive
Although players will be responding with actions rather than words, the fundamentals of befriending Numemon remain largely unchanged. Upon talking with the Digimon, players will need to respond to three different actions, with two points being awarded for the best possible response. If players are able to score three points during the conversation, they’ll be able toask the Digimon to become friendsonce it ends.
Though Numemon may seem hostile at times, a lot of this is actually just curiosity, as he is fascinated by humans and their strange mannerisms. He also enjoys eating and, like mostother Digimon inDigimon Survive, is not a fan of sudden movements or loud noises. Players should keep all this in mind when selecting their responses, or, alternatively, refer to the table below to find the best responses to all seven of Numemon’s possible actions.

Where to Find Numemon in Digimon Survive
Numemon can be found in the same place whereplayers can befriend Gazimonand Biyomon: the “Free Bat.” area in Part 2. Numemon seems to be quite a bit rarer than the aforementioned ‘mons, however, showing up a lot less frequently. In fact, it’s possible that Numemon only appears during the “Free Action!” section, so players should keep an eye out for him between checking up on their friends. It’s worth noting that taking part in a Free Battle during this section of the game will not use up one of the player’s seven actions, so they won’t need to worry aboutmissing out on potential affinity gains.
