In what seems to be an upcoming announcement fromTHQ Nordic, a leaked listing forDestroy All Humans: Clone Carnagewas spotted on the Xbox Store. According to the post,Clone Carnageis a standalone multiplayer DLC that ships with four modes and six maps. It also states that it includes up to four-player multiplayer and split-screen to let players “double the damage” in local two-player. The four modes are listed as Rampage, Armageddon, Race, and Abduction, with each offering its own spin for players.
The leak follows last year’s announcement of the sequel to 2020’s remake ofDestroy All Humans!under the titleDestroy All Humans 2: Reprobed.As such, the upcoming remake is to follow a similar approach to the 2020 title where players will take control over the familiar protagonist, Crypto. The trailer offered fans a glimpse of what to expect, complete with open stage settings and a massive visual upgrade. Currently in development,Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobedis expected to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Incidentally,Clone Carnageis listed for Xbox One, which may indicate that the DLC could be cross-platform.
At the moment, it’s unclear when the studio will officially share details aboutDestroy All Humans: Clone Carnage.However, THQ Nordic may potentially have an update at the upcoming Summer Game Fest or atTHQ Nordic’s own Summer Gaming Showcasethat’s scheduled for August 12. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see where the series will go from here following the remake of the 2006Destroy All Humans!and now, the multiplayer DLC.
