The Dawning is quickly coming to an end asDestiny 2players now only have a few days left to bake those treats, throw snowballs at unsuspecting enemies, as well as score thatperfect roll on the Zephyr stasis sword. The special snow themed gear will also be departing from the Eververse store, so players should make sure to grab as many bounties from Eva Levante as possible to maximize those bright dust gains.
One thing that won’t be leaving after the reset next week is thespecial 30th Anniversary Updatecontent including the free Dares of Eternity event as well as the premium dungeon Grasp of Avarice. Destiny 2 players will have more time to continue farming for those perfect rolls, finishing off the complete set of Thorn Armor, as well as claiming the catalyst for the exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn.

To help kick off the new year in style, theDestiny 2exotic merchant Xur has returned to the game with a slew of new items for purchase. Follow this guide for his most current weekend location, news on his exotic cypher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic gear he’s brought for the weekend of July 21, 2025.
Where is Xur?
This weekend, players can track down Xur on Earth inside the Winding Cove of the European Dead Zone.
Fast travel to the Winding Cove zone and immediately head towards the back where the Fallen typically patrol. Climb the cliffs back here to find Xur standing on a ledge not too far from a crashed ship.

Class Armor and Exotic Cypher
In Season of the Lost, Xur’s role has expanded as the exotic merchant has weekly quests, exotics, and legendary gear. Not only are these quests required to purchase a second fated engram, but they’re necessary toacquire legacy exotic gear from the Tower kiosk. Players can earn a new cypher by completing strikes and winning crucible or gambit matches. Gain bonus points for playing with clanmates or finishing more challenging activities.
With Season 15, Xur is now selling even more gear outside of his usual content. In addition to his normal exotic gear, Xur now has Legendary Weapons and Armor for sale in exchange for Legendary Shards and Glimmer. Better yet, the stat rolls are pretty solid on the Black Armor gear for this week.

Exotic Armor
Sunbracers - Warlock gauntlet
Ultimately intended for Dawnblade Warlocks, the Sunbracers increase the duration of all solar grenades, while also granting unlimited solar grenade energy for a brief time after a solar melee kill is performed. The grenade cooldown time is cut way down following a solar melee kill, allowing the player to toss out nearly unlimited amounts of grenades until the effect wears off.

With the focus on grenades, this gear is great for clearing encounters with plenty of enemies and maybe not as effective in smaller modes like the Crucible. Overall, this item is fine but not going to be anything that is a must buy for Warlocks, especially with just an okay roll this week.
Solar Enhanced. Stat Values:
St0mp-EE5 - Hunter leg armor
Also known as the Stompies, these are purely movement based exotics for Hunters. Its intrinsic perk, Hydraulic Boosters, increase player sprint speed and slide distance. In addition, this exotic further improves High Jump, Strafe Jump, and Triple Jump.
For platform heavy activities like Raids orexotic quests like Harbinger or Presage, these boots can be a lifesaver. While there are much better options for more combat specific modes such as Crucible, the St0mp-EE5 should absolutely be apart of any Hunter’s armor rotation. However, with the lowest roll this week as well as a paltry Recovery and Strength, it’s highly likely that players already have a better roll.
Arc Enhanced. Stat Values:
Heart of Inmost Light- Titan chest armor
One of the more rare exotic peices with Xur is the Heart of Inmost Light, last having been offered over a year ago. It remains a very easy recommendation for Titan players this week, especially with the high stats roll this week.
An item that pairs really well withany Titan subclass, the Heart of Inmost Light comes with the intrinsic perk called Overflowing Light. When using any ability, the other two abilities are empowered. Basically, this gives them faster regeneration, melee and grenade damage, and more hit points for Barricades. A valuable trait for sure, especially for more difficult activities inside the game. This exotic item also comes with the highest stat roll this week, which may influence players to at the very least, replace their current version.
Exotic Weapon
Seen only a few months ago, Vigilance Wing is back with Xur. Its intrinsic perk called Hard Truths makes this weapon more unique from traditional pulse rifles as this weapon has a five shot burst instead of the typical three. In addition, the player using the weapon gains instant health regeneration and increased movement speed when a nearby ally is killed due to the trait Last Stand.
The five shot burst along with the fact that pulse rifles are still a very strong weapon type inDestiny 2makes this a solid weapon to pick up for those who don’t yet have one.
