However, for years, it has been difficult for players to find groups to do such activities with, as fans have been dependent on third-party LFG systems.Destiny 2has a Guided Games feature for Raidsbut a majority of the players have never used it. To counter this issue, Bungie has finally revealed its launch plans for the highly-anticipated Fireteam Finder system.

In an official post, Bungie revealed thatDestiny 2’s Fireteam Finder will have a Raid Stress Test on November 30, followed by a public beta period sometime in December based on the results of the stress test. The reason Bungie is treading lightly with Fireteam Finder is because it doesn’t want to hamperDestiny 2Season of the Wish and its new Dungeon’s launch. The post also explains how the group finding feature works, where it lets players create listings for activities, containing specific tags and a message with details regarding the activity. Furthermore, the Fireteam Finder will be accessible via the Roster tab in the Director, and will also have an access point on any activity’s launch screen. After assessing the results of the beta launch, Fireteam Finder will get a full launch in late January 2024.
