If there were ever a time inDestiny 2to play through Nightfalls, now would be it. Areward glitchcurrently exists in the game that gifts players with twice the amount of loot drops whenever they complete a Nightfall activity.

Destiny 2player MTashed posted a demonstration and explanation of the glitch in a YouTube video, and he claims that he grabbed nearly 15 Exotics in only 3 hours.

Performing the glitch is relatively simple; all players need to do is beat the current Nightfall in theNightfall: The Ordealplaylist. That’s it. They don’t have to do anything else since the bug works autonomously. Once the Nightfall finishes, loot will drop like normal but with twice the amount of rewards.

This doubling extends to Exotics as well. The type of loot can also diversify, meaning players won’t always receive duplicated rewards. With this in mind, it’s not only easier for players to grab theExotic weapons and armorthat they want but to farm gear with the best rolls, too.

And since the glitch doubles all loot rewards, farming materials such as Ascended Shards, and Enhancement Prisms for Master Work weapons is a lot easier. If players are farming with the Master Work goal in mind, they’ll probably want to clear out the Post Master on all of their characters so that they’ll have plenty of inventory space for their materials.

When selecting the Nightfall, players should still stick to whatever level they’re comfortable completing. Trying to tackle Legend or higher just to have access to more accessible Exotic drops won’t yield an optimal farming experience — not without the right team or required light level. These modes — especially Master and above — are infested with Champion rank enemies, so going in unprepared will lead more to frustration and headaches than anything else. With that in mind, avoidGrandmaster mode, as it’s needlessly hard for farming, and the lower levels pretty much reward the same loot for less work.

Whether or notBungieknows about the glitch remains a mystery. If it does, it’ll likely remove the glitch during the weekly reset on Tuesday. However, the developer could also hot patch the bug at any time before then. So guardians looking to do some easy farming should hop on the game now and play through as many Nightfalls as they can before it’s too late.

Destiny 2is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
