This update will focus on collectingall Cyberpunk 2077 content in Death Stranding Director’s Cut.
TheCyberpunk 2077content forDeath Strandingwas originally intended as a crossover promotion within the game’s PC release.When Hideo Kojima and his teamat Kojima Productions were preparing theDirector’s Cutversion, they decided to include the content and make it available to console players for the first time.
TheCyberpunk 2077content forDeath Strandingconsists of six separate missions thatrequire Sam to locate missing memorychips with the letter V carved into them. He will receive emails from various characters throughout the game, asking him to take on these recovery missions. Surprisingly, unlike many crossover events, this content has several items that can actually be useful to Sam throughout his journey.

Watch Sam’s Emails for First Mention of V
The first mission will be initiated with an email from Thomas Southerland, the Bridges member associated with the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City.Sam must head thereto accept the mission.
The case containing the chip rests on a series of natural rock steps in the crevice that extends south of the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City. Simplybring the chip backto the distribution center to receive the face pattern as a reward.

The second mission will be initiated by an unidentified hacker calling themselves simply “J.” They’ll explain to Sam that the MULEs in the camp directly south of Lake Knot City have taken the chip, and that he must come to Lake Knot City to accept the order.
Infiltrate the MULE Camp:
Sam will find the chip case in the MULE box closest to the main tents. This box does not have the holographic rock covering it. As far as MULE camps go, this location is not very well defended. Sam should have no trouble sneaking in, though clearing the camp is alwaysa nice gesture to the other porters. Take the chip back to Lake Knot City to receive the fabrication plans for the reverse trike.

Another Email from J:
Once Sam has reached Mountain Knot City, he will receive his next request from “J.” They tell Sam to head to the Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City to receive the job order. The email also states that the chip’s previous transporter is likely dead as a result of their taking the job.
The mission will send Sam to hills above a terrorist camp, where he must locate the body of the dead porter. A small orange teardrop shape will appear on the map to guide Sam. Use the odradek to scan for the body in this exact location on the map. The chip will be in a case slightly down the hill from the body, the scanner should pick both up.A level 1 PCC and Hematic Grenadecase will be right next to the body, so that can be used to pinpoint the location as well. After returning the chip to the distribution center, Sam will receive an email asking him to return and burn the body, so he might as well do it all during this trip. The incinerator is over the hill from the terrorist camp.

Return to the Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City
“J” sends another email to Sam explaining that the same porter he just burned actually had two chips with him. The order is once again given at the same distribution center.
The chip is found at the terrorist camp near the location of the porter’s body. It is located in the postbox that sits in the center of the camp. Be careful, the terrorists shoot to kill, so make sure to come prepared.Once Sam has the chip, bring it back to the distribution center to receive the fabrication plans for Johnny’s Silver Hand.

This time “J” requests Sam’s presence in Mountain Knot City. His email specifies that this chip will belocated in BT country, which is always the first thing Sam wants to hear. Pick up the order and head out from Mountain Knot City.
As players fulfill orders around Mountain Knot City, they are likely to pass over the ruined city that sits to just south of the main distribution center. The exact location is seen on the map, but make sure to bring plenty of anti-BT weaponry, as there aremultiple BTs in the area. While playing on Very Hard, four separate giant BTs were seen surrounding the ruin where the chip rests. Make sure to bring climbing gear as well, at least one ladder and one set of climbing anchors. Return the chip to Mountain Knot City to receive the reward.

The final email from “J” will come after the main story has finished. They will tell Sam they have found the final chip location, and he must return to the Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City to pick up the order.
Go to the Ruined Shelter
Sam must go to the ruined shelter north of the Craftman’s shelter. He sent Sam to the same location earlier in the game, on a quest to fetch his tools. Unfortunately for Sam, this time the entirearea is overrun with terroristsinstead of BTs. The chip can be found in the private locker section of the terminal, which sits in the same place as all shelters. Once Sam has the chip, return it to the distribution center to claim the final reward. This brings theCyberpunk 2077content missions to a close.
