Specifically, it would appear that the game’s Brooklyn map has four streets in total, all of which are lifeless, but not featureless. For example, the area includes plenty of parked vehicles, including the iconic yellow NYC taxi cab. The developers also went through the effort of mapping out collisions, as evidenced by the fact that the player was able to actually walk on the game’s Brooklyn streets instead of falling through them.
Exploring New York City Streets in Cyberpunk 2077 Is Only Possible With Mods
Elaborating on their achievement, royalxassasin explained that they managed to reach the game’s NYC streets by glitching through some barriers with a noclip mod. While the player did not specify which exact mod they used, popular modding platform Nexus Mods presently hosts two such solutions: Noclip Trainer by hoiblij and FreeFly by keanuWheeze. Players eager to explore the streets of New York in the game can hence do so by installing one of these two mods, thenhelping Reed in theCyberpunk 2077: Phantom LibertyFirestarter quest.
Cyberpunk 2077 New York Map Is Located Beneath Pacifica
Alternatively, it’s also possible to reach this hidden map without engaging with the DLC’s story at all. To do so, V simply needs to go to Pacifica and clip through its floor, where the New York map is actually located. The same area also includes the CynoSure Core building from the very end of Reed’s Phantom Liberty storyline. Aside from a few detailed streets, royalxassasin also spotted a nondescript skyscraper while exploring the Brooklyn map. The tower in question cannot be seen from Songbird’s apartment as it merely floats in the air, the player explained.
This closer look at Phantom Liberty’s version of New York is not the only curiosity that the game’s fandom has discovered in recent times; earlier in November, one player found aCyberpunk 2077trick for bypassing locked doors without attribute checks.
