Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers hoping for some major new content are in luck, as Rebirth Island has gotten a rework with Season 2 Reloaded. As part of this rework, a new secret has been added forCall of Duty: Warzonefans discover, and one gamer has done just that.
Fans of the original Rebirth Island will know that the reskinned Alcatraz map featured a complex easter egg quest to unlock a secret vault. The easter egg involved briefcases and a lot of RNG, and while the reward wasa unique Red Room weapon blueprint, few put in the effort to actually complete it. While a new vault has been found on Rebirth Island Reinforced,Call of Duty: Warzoneplayers will not have to rely on luck and briefcases to open it - though the process does require speed and map knowledge.

TheRebirth Island Resurgencediscovery comes courtesy of Twitter user @BobNetworkUK, with the player shared a minute-long clip that shows gamers what they need to do to open the new vault. First, players will want to land at the Headquarters area, ideally landing on a low windowsill so they can jump right into the building and get down to the second floor quicker. This is because they need to be the first in the match to grab the Vikhor’s Keycard item.
From there, theCall of Duty: Warzoneplayerheads upstairs, climbs up a ladder, and leaps off the Headquarters rooftop. This is because the vault they need to access is in the Stronghold area, and with that point of interest being so hectic, it is safer to parachute from Headquarters all the way to the Stronghold building with the vault. With so many people in the area, @BobNetworkUK is unfortunately gunned down before they can get inside, though luckily for them, they have a self-revive.
After getting back on their feet, they enter the building and then go through the door inside. A vault full of lockboxes can be seen, with one in particular able to be interacted with. Using the keycard, the gamer is instantly able to collect over $6,000 in cash and one ofCall of Duty: Warzone’s loadout drops. This provides them with a massive advantage to start off their match, as they can save money they would need for a loadout to buy armor and a fresh self-revive. For solo players, this could be particularly useful.
Still, much likeotherCall of Duty: Warzoneclips that showcase clever tricksor secrets, once this footage spreads, more players will likely be going for the vault. As such, gamers looking to open the lockbox should prepare to fight for the keycard and should look out for enemies hiding near the vault.
Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
