Call of Duty: Warzonefans have made several requests over the years, with some granted and others still being asked for. The latest feedback fromCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers is tied to the battle pass, as gamers want it to be reworked to resemble the passes of Apex Legends orHalo Infinite.

Apex Legends' battle pass reworkis seemingly set to come in Season 11, with its arrival going against one of the core mechanics of the battle pass system. Once the rework comes, players will be able to unlock old battle pass items from expired passes. While there are some people who dislike this change, as part of what makes battle passes interesting is that older items become rarer as time goes on, most are happy with the change. As such, they would like to see it inCall of Duty: Warzoneas well.

WithHalo Infinite’s battle passesalso being praised for allowing players to work on them in the Seasons after they debut,Call of Duty: Warzone’s format is quickly becoming outdated. As such, Redditors like PlantainZealousideal are hoping that more old rewards will be added to the store - or entire battle passes - as they missed out on theCall of Duty: Modern Warfareera ofWarzone. For gamers who want the default version of characters like Roze, as well as skins like shirtless Yegor, they are unfortunately out of luck.

WithCall of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 battle passalready coming under fire, it seems like players are more than a bit frustrated with the current system. Letting players purchase and progress through old battle passes could be a great way to work around this, and it could give those who finish a Season’s pass early something to do. Unfortunately, while MadAshx does point outHalo: Infinite’s system, that is not something that is in place forCall of Duty.

As shown by Redditor Classic_Ghost, certainbattle pass rewards like Maraare being re-sold in new store bundles. While this is good to an extent, as it allows players to get some of the older cosmetics they missed out on, it comes with some downsides. For starters, each bundle is significantly more expensive than the entire battle pass was when the character released. Worse, only specific items go on sale in the store, meaning that some battle pass unlocks that fans may have wanted could never return.

On the bright side, theupcoming release ofCall of Duty: Vanguardgives Activision and Sledgehammer Games the chance to refine the battle pass system. While it is unclear if something likeApex LegendsorHalo Infinite’s battle passes will ever come toCall of Duty, most fans clearly prefer the formats of those games' passes.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
