Call of Duty: Warzoneis known to be a buggy experience at times. When a new update launches to correct a glitch, something else can cause big issues in the game. Recently, it was discovered that when a player slipped intoWarzone’s Juggernaut suit, they could buy unlimited Self-Revive Kits, making them, and their team, unstoppable. Strictly graphical bugs have been less obvious or intrusive, but one bug has made this time of year particularly festive, adding what looks like Christmas lights to the buildings of Verdansk.

Warzonefans are eagerly anticipating the coming December 10th update, which will bring the integration ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcontent intoWarzone. There is a lot of buzz about how this will affect theWarzoneexperience, and whether it will immediately introduce a new weapon meta to the game. As fans wait, they continue to drop into Verdansk, and on occasion, run into some unusual bugs while playing.

The Lumber area of the Verdansk map is made up of a couple of dreary, nondescript mills and storage facilities, but this little bug takes the industrial area and illuminates it, making it look like Santa’s village. For a change, the bug is not one that developer Infinity Ward would be able to fix. Unlike theinfinite stim glitch, which the dev can patch out, something like holiday lights in the lumberyard is a rendering bug that a player has to sort out in their own computer settings. This bug has been around for a little while, with wild videos popping up on social media showing off whatWarzonewould look like if it were set inTron,or a Christmas movie.

The bug does make the game a little difficult to deal with, as it can severely impact a player’s ability to see enemies, but it is mostly harmless. Usually, folks who encounter this bug are jazzed the map looks different, something manyWarzonefans would like to see.The rumors of a new map inWarzoneor at the very least, some substantial changes, continue to float around online. It should only be a matter of time before something big happens toWarzone’s map.

It is nice to see some festive color at this time of year, even if it is a graphical bug and shouldn’t be there. It is a nice distraction fromthe rampantWarzonecheaterswho will not go away.
