If the maps are received well, it seems likely that they could replace less popular ones like Invasion and Terminal in certain modes. For now, that’s it for new Ranked Play news, butCall of Dutyfans received another promising updatetoday that finally nerfed the controversial Longbow sniper rifle. Its aim assist was adjusted to match other sniper rifles and its incoming flinch was increased to help enemies counter the weapon in close quarters. The BAS-B’s recently added JAK Outlaw-277 conversion kit was also re-balanced.

Recently,Sledgehammer teased the potential return of Capture the Flag, a mode that almost everyone is probably familiar with. Fans might remember that Capture the Flag was featured inBlack Ops 2’s League Play,Call of Duty’s first-ever ranked mode. While it was a popular mode in Treyarch’s original, innovative system, it seems unlikely that it would return to the modernCall of Dutycompetitive scene. Also, it’s important to note that Capture the Flag’s return is still unconfirmed.
