In a hilarious new clip shared on r/ModernWarfareII, Redditor PapiSadness gives a great example of players finding their own unique way to have fun in the popular military shooter. Rather than rushing to take down their opponents as is usually the preferred method of play for the franchise, the unusualModern Warfare 2clip shows a squad of soldiers going for a swim in a peaceful-looking pool. Recorded on the La Casa map that was introduced withModern Warfare 2’s Season 6 update, the video shows that sometimes the best way to escape the heat of battle is to dive into the deep end.
Redditors responding to the post were amused by the unusual clip, with oneModern Warfare 2player expressing amusement at the fact that the pool in the center of the action is one of the Hardpoints for the map. Other responses shared their own stories of sneaking away from the battle for a quick swim, though not everyone’s experience was as peaceful as the one in the video. One Redditor joked that they were killed while jumping off the diving board in La Casa but weren’t particularly bothered since they’d already gotten their laps in at that point.
This clip may not feature the same sort of high-octane action that the franchise is traditionally known for, but it shows that there are many different ways to have fun inModern Warfare 2. Unfortunately for players hoping to go for a swim in the series’ next outing, there’s no word yet on whether theupcomingCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3will include any equally appealing pools.
