Call of Duty Mobilecontinues to grow by adding classic, and some entirely original,CoDcontent, with the latest addition announced by the team being another multiplayer map. The nextCall of Duty Mobileaddition will be none other than Hackney Yard, a popular multiplayer map fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare.
This is hardly the first bit of content from the 2019Modern Warfarereboot that has appeared inCall of Duty Mobile, as the gunfight game mode was added to the mobile FPS a few months back. Since then, the game has seen the addition of other gunfight maps like Pine, and most recently, the2v2 map King was added toCoD Mobile. If it plays anything like the originalModern Warfareversion, however, Hackney Yard is likely to be its own 6v6 map.

Hot off the heels ofthe Mythic Fennec’s release date teaser, the officialCall of Duty MobileTwitter account shared an image of the map within the mobile game. Confirmed for the game’s next season of content, theCall of Duty Mobileversion of Hackney Yard will be looking a bit different from the one seen inModern Warfare. Captioned “sun’s getting real low,” the comment is more than just a clever reference to theAvengersfilms, as it is also a major teaser for what the map will look like as well.
As shown within the image, Hackney Yard onCoD Mobilewill see a heavy sunset instead of the midday setting of the original map. This visual change should make the map stand out a bit amongCoD Mobile’s other map offerings, as it is certainly a bit darker than the usualCall of Dutymap. The sunset in the image could possibly hint ata night version of theCoD Mobilemap, though it could just as easily look like it does in the picture when it arrives.
When the map arrives,Call of Duty Mobileplayers should expect to see it in the rotation for 6v6 modes based on its previous appearance. Like with most additions from otherCall of Dutygames, the mobile version of the map is likely to keep its same design. WithCoD Mobilehaving been downloaded 300 million timessince its release, it seems likely that quite a few people will be experiencing the special sunset version of Hackney Yard.
Until the new season arrives, and Hackney Yard is officially playable within the game, fans can enjoythe Undead Fog eventthat is currently going on within the game. With in-game awards, zombies, and, unsurprisingly, fog, the event is full of special content to keep fans busy for the remainder ofCoD Mobile’s anniversary season.
