Bugsnaxfans were thrilled to learn that the game would be getting some fresh content early next year, and free Isle of Bigsnax update looks like it should please everyone who liked the main game. However, it seems like trophy hunters will also have a reason to hop into this newBugsnaxcontent.

Kinda Funny co-host and content creator Greg Miller is one of many gamers that are passionate abouttrophy hunting on PlayStation. As such, he will often push developers to add new trophies to games with big updates or DLC releases, as expansions do not always bring fresh achievements to collect. With this in mind, Miller wanted to know if The Isle of Bigsnax would be bringing fresh trophies to collect, and the conversation that followed was certainly entertaining.

In response to a post detailing what would be featured inThe Isle of Bigsnax, Miller asked if new trophies would be added. Young Horses responded with a very clear no, though Miller was persistent. Greg jokingly stated that he had made his own trophy list for the DLC, something that pushed Young Horses to reconsider. Several Tweets followed from a number of different gamers, making it clear that there was interest in such a feature. In turn, Young Horses gave in to the demands.

Young Horses co-founder and president Philip Tibitoski confirmed that, due to Greg Miller’s demands and the outcry from fellow gamers, The Isle of Bigsnax DLC will indeed feature a fresh batch of trophies to collect. No details were provided on what these trophies will include, though the fact that they are coming at all should please those thatenjoyed the originalBugsnax. With that game having an easy platinum trophy that required little more than full completion of the game, it can be assumed that the DLC trophies will not be too complex.

While this is purely speculation, it would make sense if these extra trophies focused on some of the new features coming with The Isle of Bigsnax. Catching all the Bugsnax that are added alongside the DLC makes sense for one trophy, as does completion of all the new challenges and quests. With “nearly 200 decorations” able to be collected, tying a few trophies to the hutcustomization being added with theBugsnaxDLCwould also be fitting. Regardless of what the new achievements are, though, many PlayStation fans will surely be glad that Greg Miller succeeded in his mission to get more trophies added to the game.

WhileBugsnaxfanswill not be able to play the DLC until 2022, it certainly seems like the wait will be worth it. With trophies now confirmed to be included, The Isle of Bigsnax will be giving players even more content than what was originally planned.

Bugsnaxis available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
