Fire damage is one of Elden Ring’s most useful damage types, so it makes perfect sense to consider weapons that naturally have it and obtain the most powerful variations available so far. This list has been updated to include even more weapons with additional Fire damage, as well as the most powerful flame Weapon Skills.

This heavy-weight Great Hammer is ideal for crushing enemy armor while dealing Fire damage with each strike. Its major advantages include long range, solid scaling, and a relatively quick one-handed move set that can catch enemies off guard. The Skill, Devourer of Worlds, isn’t the most powerful in terms of sheer damage but allows players to restore HP, especially when multiple enemies are nearby. It’s noteworthy for having the longest range of any life-leeching ability, which can be quite useful when fighting certain bosses.
The Devourer’s Scepter is dropped by Recusant Bernahl when defeated in Crumbling Farum Azula during his invasion. Alternatively, you may also fight Knight Bernahl earlier at Warmaster’s Shack in Stormhill.

Vyke’s War Spear is a solid choice for prioritizing Fire damage, especially for high Dexterity builds or Faith hybrids. However, it’s not just the extra damage that makes this fire weapon stand out; this spear also causesmoderate Madness buildupwith each strike. Its Ash of War, Frenzyflame Thrust, deals great Fire explosion damage and inflicts madness as well. Be cautious, though, as it inflicts madness not only on enemies but on the wielder as well.
This uniqueElden Ring’s fire weapon is dropped by Festering Fingerprint Vyke, who invades players in the northeast part of Liurnia of the Lakes, on the way to the Church of Inhibition.

The Cranial Vessel Candlestand is a really fun Fire Great Hammer to use, due to its unique look and spectacular Weapon Skill. Surge of Faith allows players to become a deadly Fire Worshipper, raining down giant fireballs over a formidable range. For some bosses, such as the nasty Tree Spirits, just a couple of well-placed fire rains should be enough to put them out of their misery.
While this hammer has great range and damage, it is suitable only for high-strength builds. On the bright side, players won’t need to grind for this fire weapon inElden Ring, as it is found on a corpse in the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave located in the Mountaintops of the Giants.

The Magma Blade is a great weapon for Strength-Faith hybrids, dealing additional Fire damage while possessing the swift Curved Sword move set. The standout feature is its Weapon Skill, Magma Shower, which allows players to deal Fire damage with ranged lava splashes, hitting multiple surrounding targets. It’s very powerful, albeit FP-expensive, and looks cool, too.
The only major downside of this flame sword inElden Ringis its rarity, as it only drops from Man-Serpent enemies wielding this blade at Volcano Manor. Naturally, it has a very small chance to drop, so be prepared to grind if looking to wield two of these.

The Grafted Dragon is a Fist fire weapon that players get when trading the Remembrance of the Grafted item with Enia in Roundtable Hold. This remembrance is a reward for taking down Stormveil Castle’s main boss,Godrick the Grafted.
Fist weapons in general are a bit more cumbersome and risky thanother weapons inElden Ring, but the Grafted Dragon is so unique it’s worth checking out at least once. Its skill, called Bear Witness!, has the player drag the dragon’s head to the ground before hoisting it into the air where it rains down a volley of firebombs in a cascading blanket in front of the player. It’s hard to find a cooler feeling than wielding a literal dragon head like a sock puppet of sorts.

Elden Ringis filled with plenty of hand-crafted and well-thought-out details that make the world come alive. Designers did a good job at making weapons dropped by bosses reflect the type of things one would expect to be associated with said boss. TheMagma Wyrm’s Scaleswordis a perfect example.
This weapon looks like a chunk that’s been ripped out of the giant wyrm when players take down Magma Wyrm Makar in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, located in the northern area of Liurnia of the Lakes. In addition to the base Fire damage it inflicts, its weapon skill Magma Guillotine unleashes a splash down of magma damage after the player lunges forward while dual-wielding the massive Curved Greatsword.

Fire damage in the world of Lands Between is usually associated with specific beasts or magical blades of some sort, but it’s rarely thought of as the type of elements attached to spears. Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear breaks the mold in this way as the Great Spear comes packed with additional Fire damage at its base.
Builds focused on Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane will see the biggest scaling benefit when wielding this flame trident of sorts. Anyone wishing to obtain it will need toovercome Mohg, Lord of Blood, a rather tough boss that you have to defeat inElden Ringto progress intoShadow of the Erdtreeexpansion.

A weapon named Godslayer’s Greatsword feels like a weapon meant for the ultimate combatants. This Colossal Sword can be found in a chest afterdefeating Godskin Apostlein the Divine Tower of Caelid, meaningFromSoftwarewanted players to work hard for this reward.
This god-slaying weapon has really impressive damage values at its base, which go significantly higher once upgraded. It also offers a solid Desterity and Faith scaling. That’s not even considering its built-in skill, The Queen’s Black Flame. This move imbues the colossal sword with a black flame, followed by a devastating slash that flows into a combination attack.

Rivers of Blood sounds like a weapon known for causing Blood loss buildup, but it also happens to inflict a solidamount of Fire damage. This Katana scales best with builds centered on Arcane, Dexterity, and Strength. It’s best for players who like to engage in combat at close to mid-range.
By killing Bloody Finger Okina near the Church of Repose, players will gain access to the Katana and can see why it earned its name. The skill, Corpse Piler, is unique to Rivers of Blood. When activated, it showcases a bevy of attacks that release a stream of blood from the blade as it slices through the air.

By now people have likely seen the Blasphemous Blade pop up on a list documentingEaster eggs inElden Ring,but the Greatsword is much more than a shoutout to the beloved Souls-like indie gameBlasphemous. In addition to its ability to critically strike enemies, this fire weapon comes with a skill called Taker’s Flames. When used, this skill covers the blade in flames and will steal health from any living thing it touches.
From both a visual and effective perspective the Blasphemous Blade earns its spot as more than just a clever Easter egg. Obtaining it simply requires giving Enia at the Roundtable Hold the Remembrance of the Blasphemous, which is gained by defeating the boss Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy in Mt. Gelmir.
