The currentTFTset 8.5 is known asMonsters Attack! Glitched Out!and other than featuring somenew and exciting portal mechanics, players will be wondering what are the best comps to try out inTFTright now. As with anyTFTmeta, some comps are more reliable at consistently finishing higher up and other more risky comps have greater potential to win it all, but might fail before they can even get going.

7Full Star Guardian Comp

Using some ofthe bestLeague of Legendsskins from 2022such as Star Guardian Kai’Sa, Rell, and Ekko, the full Star Guardian comp inTFTis not only a treat for the eyes and ears but also a great option for climbing.

Star Guardians gain more mana in combat allowing for more abilities to be used over and over again. There are a few possible carries for this comp, but one of the best is Kai’Sa, especially when she is paired with Miss Fortune who is also a Quickdraw. They will then both fire off bonus projectiles after every two abilities.

6Gadgeteen Gnar Comp

One of the best comps in the currentTFTmeta is a Gadgeteen comp that uses Gnar as the main carry. When players have 5 Gadgeteens, 2 temporary items will be created every round and each Gadgeteen will gain bonus damage and resistances for any items they hold.

This is a slow roll comp which means players should wait till they have over 50 gold before rolling to try and get 3-star champions, especially Gnar.

5Riftwalker Jhin & Viego

The Riftwalker trait is one of the most unique inTeamfight Tacticsbecause if players have all 3 of the Riftwalkers, Pyke, Jhin, and Vex, they will open a gap between dimensions to spawn Zac, who is normally found inthe jungle inLeague of Legends.

Zac’s strength depends on how many stars the Riftwalkers have, meaning players should try and acquire as many of them as possible, particularly Jhin who should be one of the carries. Jhin is best when also paired with other Renegades, especially if he can be the last one alive in fights. Viego as another Renegade is a great secondary carry in this comp.

4LaserCorps Ashe Comp

Ashe is traditionally anAD carry inLeague of Legends, so it makes sense that she can also be a carry inTeamfight Tacticswith a LaserCorps comp built around her. LaserCorps all have drones that deal extra damage when their champion attacks or is attacked and they also transfer to others upon death. This means that Ashe could end up with lots of drones aiding her, turning her into a raid boss.

Other than getting 5 LaserCorps for this comp, players will want to acquire 4 Brawlers to act as a frontline for Ashe and ensure they get good AD and attack speed items for her.

3Duelist Yasuo Comp

If players are not only looking to place highly inTFTbut actuallywin their games, then the Duelist Yasuo comp is currently one of the best options. If players are able to get 8 Duelists then each attack will give an insane amount of attack speed and damage reduction. Ideally, Yasuo would be the carry, but Twisted Fate can also work as a great alternative.

Despite not being a Duelist, Annie is a great addition to this comp if players can find a Duelist Augment, and she can provide both the Ox Force and Spellslinger bonuses by pairing with Fiora and Twisted Fate, respectively.

2InfiniTeam Garen & Ultimate Ezreal

One of the best comps for consistently placing top 4 inTeamfight Tactics Monsters Attack! Glitched Out!revolves around getting 5 InfiniTeam champions and then having Garen and Ultimate Ezreal as the carries.

With 5 InfiniTeams, 2 portals will be opened at the start of combat allowing 2 champions to create duplicates of themselves with different items. With Garen and Shen, players will have 2 Defenders, and with Sivir, Samira, and Ultimate Ezreal they will have 3 Sureshots.

1Ox Force & Spellslinger Comp

Combining Ox Force champions with Spellslingers makes for one of the best comps currently available inTeamfight Tactics, and in the late game players can have 4 of each as Annie falls under both brackets.

Annie is one option for a carry, but Twisted Fate is often more reliable, and Neeko is another option too, so players should just go for whichever they can get to 3-stars in any given game. The Ox Force champions can be used as tanks with their extra shields and resistances, while the Spellsligners deal the damage.
