The highlight of the Apple conference was the announcement of the iPhone 14. There will be multiple models, including the 14, the 14 Plus, the 14 Pro, and the 14 Pro Max. The Pro versions of the phone will feature a brand-new notification system called dynamic island. This system will take advantage of the top of the iPhone, where the notch is traditionally located, to bring adaptive notifications to users.Now iPhone text messages, emails, Face ID sign-ins, and more will have their own unique animations. The dynamic island will also be interactive so that users can change music, respond to contacts, and multitask seamlessly.
The cameras on iPhone also got a major upgrade. ProRAW footage, 4K video, cinematic mode, and adaptive Action Mode will allow creatives to take videos like never before. Apple also announced the all-new Apple Watch Ultra. The device is geared toward passionate or professional athletes and can withstand temperatures below zero and over 130 degrees. The watch will also be two times more water-resistant than any other Apple Watch. The Apple Watch Series 8 was also unveiled and will include features like REM sleep monitoring, improved battery life, and mobile ECG capabilities for heart monitoring. These features may not seem as impressive asthe M2 chip, but they’re a big deal for Apple’s customers.
