The next season forApex Legendsis right around the corner, and with it comes tons of new content. Fans have been hoping to figure out details on a new map or map changes, fresh weapons, and more before thelaunch of Season 6: Boosted inApex Legends. It looks like some of that digging has yielded results, as an in-game look of Rampart has appeared online.

Rampart is the Season 6 playable Legend inApex Legends. The initial info drop from Respawn Entertainment showed off what Rampart looks like, along with her powerful mini-gun. But even with Season 6 coming so soon on July 09, 2025, fans have been trying to find out more before the release.

Luckily for fans, a screenshot appeared on Reddit showing off what Rampart looks like when shuffling through the Legend selection screen from the main menu inApex Legends. The image was quickly taken off Reddit, but Twitter page @TitanfallBlog (Apex Legends News) saved the image and posted it in a tweet earlier today.

One of the first things many fans may notice from the image is that Rampart will be the fourth defensive character.Playing as defensive characters like Gibraltor, Caustic, and Wattson can be extremely useful in the team-based battle royale, Rampart now joins that group. Additionally, the moniker “Base of Fire” is a part of the character.

The recentStories from the Outlands video on Rampartshows that she is a weapons master, someone who has sold various tools to those who seek her assistance.  The end of the video shows Rampart hiding behind a protective shield and blasting away an enemy with her mini-gun turret, one that she calls “Sheila.” In most circumstances, Respawn uses videos like this to highlight what the character’s abilities will be in-game.

While there have been possible leaks and theories to the exact details of Rampart’s abilities, it is not yet known how she will use Sheila in-game. Some have assumed that her turret will be called down from the sky, much likeLifelineand her Care Package.

Respawn Entertainment usually releases the official patch notes the day before an update. In the case of Season 6, it is likely that the developer will unveil all the info the day before it drops. Whether it’s the specifics of theVolt SMG, aTitanfallfan favorite that is finally coming to the game, map alterations and changes and of course all the details on Rampart, fans will not have to wait much longer.

Apex Legendsis out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Switch version also in development.
