Agatha: Coven of Chaoswill revolve around Agatha Harkness, based on the Marvel comics character of the same name. The character was first introduced to the MCU in the limited seriesWandaVision, where she posed as an overbearing neighbor right up until her reveal as the show’s primary antagonist. Kathryn Hahn’s portrayal of the character was very well received and was a standout that fans enjoyed well enough that Marvel Cinematic Universe bossKevin Feige hinted at theWandVisioncharacter’s MCU returnsoon afterward.

Feige’s vague hints soon materialized into an announcement that Hahn’sAgatha Harkness would be getting her own spin-off seriesfollowing on from where the events ofWandavisionleft the upcoming show’s titular character. The news followed soon after that Emma Caulfield Ford would be reprising their roles fromWandaVision,and a report fromVarietyhas now addedHeartstopperstar Locke to that cast list. The young actor will be joining the Jac Schaeffer-led production in an as-of-yet-unconfirmed role.
Additional character and plot details are being withheld due to the early nature of the production, with lead actress Hahn confirming thatAgatha: Coven of Chaosfilming is just set to beginsometime in November. While there is no way of telling what role Locke will be playing as of this time, the series is billed as a dark comedy, which might give more imaginative fans enough of a hint to base guesses on and craft expectations about the star’s upcoming performance.
