With the stakes high and Goku and Vegeta finding themselves in a wacky predicament, there’s no telling what is around the corner for the last of the Saiyan race. 7Kid Goku Returns
One of the big standouts in the newDragon Ball Daimatrailer is that Goku has once again been reverted to his child-like state. It is yet to be seen what the extent of Goku’s power will be in the series, but going back to the roots of Dragon Ball can never be a bad thing. Series-wise, the last time that Kid-Goklu was seen was in the fourth anime installment, Dragon Ball GT, which followed Goku and his granddaughter on an adventure through space. This also featured one of Goku’sstrongest transformations.
6Enter Kid Vegeta!
Alongside Goku in this new adventure is Vegeta, the prince of all Saiyans who has also been reverted into a younger version of himself. Vegeta, as a child, has only been seen a handful of times throughout specific anime series and a movie.
Hence, a new appearance for the prideful rapscallion is interesting, to say the least. While Vegeta is not the only individual to be affected by the age regression, it’s clear that Vegeta will play a pivotal role in the story.
5The Power Pole Is Back
Many fans who took to the trailer and scanned the animation for easter eggs have been static about the return of the Power Pole. Goku’s trusty companion since his early days as a student of Master Roshi, the power pole, was a gift from Goku’s Granpa, the most important person in Goku’s history, whom he has tried to model himself after to this day. The power pole was an iconic weapon in the original Dragon Ball anime and ties to Goku’s legacy being based on the Son WuKong legend.
4Traditional Animation
Unlike the previous film,Dragon Ball Super Hero,Dragon Ball Daimaseems to be returning to traditional animation, which many fans will be pleased to see. In the previous film, which starred Gohan as the main protagonist, the entire movie was made using the new 3D style of animation that has been hit or miss by most fans. The more traditional animation style is inDragon Ball’s roots, which is greatly celebrated in past instances such asDragon Ball Super Brolyand the Super anime.

With both of the least Saiyans in the universe returning to take on a sinister threat together, Dragon Ball Daima will surely be an exciting run. For fans of Dragon Ball all over the world, more content is always welcome, whether it be a main story tie-in or a spin-off series. The Z-Fighters returning to the screen to fight alongside one another is enough to quench most fans' thirst while inviting new fans into the community.

1Possible Super Saiyan 4 Return
Considering that the last time Goku was reverted back into a Child-like state was also the last time that Super Saiyan Four was canonically portrayed, there is a tiny sliver of a chance that the legendary form may make a return in the upcoming series. Super Saiyan Four is one of the most controversial elements in the Dragon Ball universe, just a few levels belowBlack Freiza. However, Super Saiyan Four has made a recent appearance in an anime series, Dragon Ball Super Heroes.
